Tern Cottage is a bright and inviting detached family home located just off the coast road in the charming village of Holme-next-the-Sea. Situated between the villages of Thornham and Old Hunstanton, both easily reached by an amble along the stunningly wild and expansive local beach, a stay at this attractive house offers a simply perfect solution for a comfortable and relaxing coastal getaway embracing fresh sea air. fabulous walks and great local food at any time of the year.Tern Cottage has been a cherished family holiday home for several years. Although it is situated along the principal village road, the primary view from the house is at the rear, overlooking a large fully enclosed garden. The delightful sunlit interior exudes a laid-back vibe with an open-plan layout, allowing rooms to flow seamlessly on the ground floor. However, doors can be closed for more intimate gatherings if desired. The spacious and well-equipped kitchen features an archway opening into a separate dining area, where you are likely to spend most of your time when not outdoors. As the day winds down, the cosy dual aspect sitting room complete with a wood burning stove, invites you to unwind, especially on chillier days. Upstairs there are three well-presented bedrooms. The master bedroom features a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room, while the other two bedrooms (a second king-size room and a bunk-bed room) share a family bathroom.
Just outside the rear of the house, accessible from both the kitchen and the sitting room, is a generous decked patio furnished with dining furniture and sun loungers. Overlooking the expansive lawned garden below, it offers a fantastic setting for outdoor dining - day or evening - whether you choose to stay home, relax in the sun or let supervised children and dogs roam freely in the fully enclosed space.
This lovely home is ideal for families, couples, and friends seeking a relaxed, social, and easygoing atmosphere.

良かった点 : 清潔度
A well kitted out and comfortable house, however the wifi signal is atrocious and this is not made clear when booking! There is no phone signal. The wifi is just about good enough for calling but no more than that. A shame as otherwise a pleasant place to stay.
