「Josh, thank you for a wonderful stay at your Blue Spruce Retreat. It served as the perfect base for our visit to the Redwood Curtain—conveniently situated to access all the local attractions while offering a peaceful atmosphere. The home is stylishly appointed, with standouts like the Frame TV and unique lighting details adding a welcoming, personable feel. The attention to detail and communication was excellent. 「It’s a cosy little cabin in the middle of eureka. The check-in instructions were clear and precise. I was in town for a reunion so I really only used it for sleeping. I didn’t cook. It was perfect for a solo traveler; might be a bit tight for a couple.
The best part for me was the location —- close to Harrison and Harris and Henderson and H Street. Very affordable and much quieter than Broadway.」

Live plants are a nice touch. The bathroom/sink is tight but was not an issue for us. The host had excellent communication. We will recommend to friends traveling through Eureka and would stay again. 「The place was clean and bedding comfortable. The 2 bedroom listing was a bit deceiving, the 2nd bedroom also includes the kitchenette, dining area and no living or lounging space. The space was very tiny and cramped. The 1 bedroom was a nice size and the bathroom was in there. There was only 1 window and it was high on the wall. The outdoor space was very small. For me it felt a bit claustrophobic and not worth the price we paid.」
