The Annexe in Burton Pidsea near Hull is a delightful holiday home with two double bedrooms and a shower room together with a living/dining room with a sofa bed and a kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Outside, there is ample off-road parking and wraparound gardens with a gravelled area with patio furniture and lawns and access to a fishing lake. One well-behaved dog is welcome but sorry, this is a non-smoking property. A shop is within 0.9 miles and a pub is within 0.5 miles. Note: There is a sofa bed in the living/dining room. The Annexe is an attractive holiday home with accommodation all on one level in a superb location. Note: Check-in is from 4pm, check-out by 10am. The Neighborhood:
The small rural village of Burton Pidsea lies centrally positioned in the Holderness peninsular of East Yorkshire, just six miles from the coast. The village has a couple of local inns, along with a traditional village shop and church. It is surrounded by flat country lanes, perfect for cycling and easy rambling. Nearby historic Hedon offers all facilities and quaint architecture and tea rooms. Seven miles from Burton Pidsea is the City of Hull - the City of Culture for 2017, with its popular Truck Theatre and the wonderful aquatic centre, The Deep. The historic inner centre provides an interesting visit and gives an insight to Hull's former trading connections. From Spurn Point to Bridlington, there are sweeping, expansive sandy beaches, whist Flamborough cliffs, Bempton and Spurn Point RSPB Reserves will delight birdwatchers. Horse racing at Beverley and the rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds are all within easy reach, with the wonderful historic City of York an easy drive.
