"I recommend this place if your looking to do things off the beaten path . This is what I was looking for . It’s 20 mins from OGG airport, Walmart , Costco and plenty of other places to eat and shop . On the other hand your basically on the road to Hāna where you will explore beautiful scenery of a waterfalls, trails ,Eucalyptus trees and bamboo trees ,local little shops and some smallRestaurants on the way to Waiʻānapanapa state park and 7 sacred pools and more . We were also about an hour and 20 mins or so to watch the sunset which was absolutely beautiful in Haleakalā National Park. Your place was clean other than having a couple things that don’t really matter and you took care of it right away ( slow drain in tub) and not having an oven but who wants to cook on vacation. Love that we had access to use beach chairs , sun umbrella and boogie boards with no charge to rent them. I would of love to have access to the washer and dryer myself to come home with clean clothes but it was all good . Parking was great . "

The morning breakfast staff was attentive and helpful. Overall I would stay here again, if you are looking for peace, comfortable space and great staff then this is your future location while in Maui."

"Moe was setting up the hot tub when i arrived & checked me in. The ht was great. The location worked great for my travels & you cant beat the price. I look forward to my stay with Yonegans on Hilo the next 3 nights."

"Very nice bed and breakfast located in Pukalani, a/k/a upcountry Maui. Located in a residential area, it is a great location to start any activity in Maui. Pros: Large clean climate controlled room area, comfortable bed, multiple seating areas, 2 head shower with very good water pressure, strong wifi signal, kitchenette nicely furnished, free off-street parking, convenient to local shopping and golf course. Check in was effortless and the host provided some welcome gifts which enhanced our visit. Cons: Really nothing other than a couple of steps inside which can catch you off guard in the dark. Motion activated lights worked well along the entranceway, but those located in the interior areas needed some maintenance. Plenty of interior light, but like other converted B&Bs, the light switch locations are sometimes awkward. The host has labeled each switch as to it's function, so it doesn't take long to figure things out. The other reviews citing noise issues were unfounded other than noises normally associated with a residential area. Photos accurately represent the accommodations. I would not hesitate to stay at this B&B again and would recommend it highly. "
