"We chose this spot as it was located centrally across from the famous Cheateau de Vizille and close to the local cafés. The apartment was clean and quiet and had a washer AND dryer, which was great as we have been travelling for weeks and often had to dry our laundry by hanging it. The host disclosed ahead of time that they did not provide towels, but they gave us towels when we asked which was kind. "Stayed at Chalet Foxly for a ski holiday and its location is great for getting the ski lift to the lower slopes, if snow allows. The bus stop is very near and takes you to the main ski lift and the bus also operates in the evening. We were welcomed at the chalet by the concierge, who offered breakfast and cooked meal deliveries. When we had issues with the hot tub and hairdryers, they quickly resolved any problems. "We were disappointed in the hotel. It may have been 4 star at some point, but no longer. More like 2 1/2 stars."

"The room was expected- for the money paid - so no complaints there Staff we dealt with were attentive and informative However within 2 hours of being a the hotel ( we were parked directly outside the front of the hotel ) Our van was broken into 90% of our luggage and personal items taken ( ruining the 2nd week of our touring break ) - and rendering the van unusable due to two windows being smashed (no way of securing the van overnight etc) Hotel acknowledged difficulties in the area and did advise no belongings on show - which all were heeded as locked in a rear -out of sight compartment not on show at all If you stay in this budget hotel be sure to park in the nearby multi story ( ridiculously expensive) this rendering the hub not good value overall"

"The receptionist was terrible. She ignored a problem with my room, leaving me with the issue for over a day. I had to go to reception four times and call twice before she did anything. When I asked for an explanation, she made excuses, saying that even with colleagues present, she couldn't leave the reception area and that the system didn't allow for phone calls to the rooms. Is it really true that reception can't make phone calls to guest rooms?"
