This fantastic resort met all my expectations. A wonderful staff that will assist you with most anything you want. The rooms are very nice, huge and very comfortable bed. Breakfast is superb. The onsen at this hotel was very nice. Enjoyed it every day on my stay.
Would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Hue.
Really enjoyed our stay at Kobi Onsen. The onsen experience was amazing ā very clean, relaxing, and well organized. The atmosphere of the hotel is calm and peaceful, perfect for unwinding.
The room was comfortable and nicely designed, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, a great place to relax and recharge. Would definitely recommend and come back again.
The place was peaceful, and the staff were helpful.
If you want to treat your significant other, this place is great.
They noticed that it was my birthday and later sent a personal letter and a cake, which was very much
appreciated.
Note that the onsen bath is separated for men and women unless you book a private onsen.
The property was as described. Itās a 5 star resort with large clean rooms, excellent facilities like the pool, gym and Onsen. The breakfast was outstanding and we have an amazing dinner as well. It is 20 mins from the centre of Hue so you will need to take a taxi to get into town and to get to the cultural attractions.
The Kobi Onsen resort is a new, up and coming resort located near Hue. Just outside the city proper, it provides transportation to many nearby activities. The rooms were fantastic and the resort was incredible. We took advantage of the Onsen and the Spa and enjoyed both. Two areas to improve would be: (1) in the responsiveness to orders - it often took quite a while to get drinks; and (2) the meals - we had several meals there. I would recommend westerners avoid the western food - it might not live up to standards.
Overall, this is a fantastic new resort and I would absolutely stay there again. Relaxing by the Koi Pond and enjoying the pina coladas was a peak of the trip for us.
We stayed in a villa with private onsen and found the property very zen and had a very relaxing enjoyable stay. The only negative is that we got the half board. We found that it is a set menu of several options per course that were either international or Vietnamese food. There was no Japanese food listed in the set menu. Also the menu was the same everyday so it felt limiting by the third day.
The property is beautiful, the staff welcoming, professional and attentive! The spa and sauna area is relaxing.
The only thing I would add is a bench for sitting among the beautiful plants and bonsais in the garden area. All 3 gazebos don't have a seating area. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay!
Love the Kimonos ā¤ļø
This hotel was absolutely beautiful! The staff were incredibly friendly, and their English was very good, which made everything so easy and comfortable for us. They were always helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of great options. The view was amazing and truly made the experience even more special. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!
We've stayed many times and enjoyed the hotel, it's a good place for our family as we like the Onsen and waters. Breakfast is good and the two connecting rooms make it easy for our family of 4. The staff are well trained but our recent visit had one massive surprise from a place one would not think.
The General Manager of the hotel made a tour with 2 other Europeans. The manager thought it was fine to walk them through the shower/bathing area in shoes. As a family that has been in more than 30+ onsen, we understand how it is important to be clean in the bathing area before entering and while in the onsen. Walking in the shower are with dirty shoes and not thinking it was a problem makes me think the management are setting a bad example instead of leading by positive actions. After he left, some staff mentioned they didn't understand why it happened and apologized for his behavior. His reaction to me was not apologetic but more rational as he would have one of his staff clean up after him for making the floors unsanitary. Management should lead by example in all areas of the hotel operation.
Perhaps not a big deal to some but the marks of dirt on the floor and his attitude lead us to think he needs a little training in onsen etiquette. It would be good for them to also have the maintenance work staff that transit the onsen baths to change shoes while walking through to work areas. Sanitation here leads me to wonder about other areas of the hotel.
