The staff were very nice, they will help u with anything and the rooms were clean. There was some mold in the bathroom but it wasn‘t that bad. The location is very good.

Excellent and abysmal. Depends on the room

The rooms are nice but two of them have a terrible mildew problem throughout the room including the mattress. Once they changed our room we were fine and the managent was wonderful and extremely helpful. I got sick after staying in the mildew room one night. Also there is construction across the street that will go on for the next year so get a back room. The workers start at 7:30 am.

Big room in good area

Room was nice and big with a great shower in the bathroom. Bed wasn't the coziest I've ever slept in but still pretty good. Staff at reception were very helpful also.

Nice service, not good hotel!

Very nice and friendly receptionist, nice brekkie, can even ask to have it later if you cant have it in the morning. But room was dirty, the blanket & quilt were dirty and had marks, changed 2 times, still dirty. Hot water didnt work properly.

Nice stay, good quality/price

Overall was good. Great staff, very helpful for giving directions how to get around the area. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice clean modern glass shower, good water pressure and hot water. Breakfast was also delicious.Staff spoke fairly good english. Few things to improve, especially in terms of advertisement: There is no bar. They have local beer in a fridge. Restaurant, yes but only for breakfast. 2 problems we encountered. First, there is no elevator. Considering that you have to climb equivalent of 1 floor to access hotel lobby, we were on 3rd floor (there is 1-2-3...). Let's say we were happy not to be on 5th floor. We kind of made sure we did not forget anything in the room before going out... (make sure to ask for 1st floor if you are not in the best shape or with kids!!!). Second issue we had was the new night employee at front desk.... not one word of english... we needed soap (yes we had when we came in, bit hotel soaps being what they are, after we both took 2 showers...no more....). Employee finally understood after about 5 minutes of sign language, to finally not providing with only answer :tomorrow.. that left us bitter. Since a am a compromising person, asked front desk following day to contact manager and ask for a free late check out at 3pm since our train was at 5 and they agreed. I would return to Waterland (on first floor lol), it was well located near many restaurants, convenience, other hotels, coffee shops etc.

Great staff, good value for money.

The staff made this hotel. Thanks to Lyn for the chat and advice. Breakfast was good. Only negative was a mildew smell in the room. Everything clean, though. Great budget choice and easy access to local sites.

Basic accommodation in a handy location

good location to streets with restaurants/shops. Hidden down an alley that thankfully our taxi driver helped us find. 30 min stroll to Imperial City. Very helpful staff welcomed us with fruit, tea and biscuits. Room had some issues - very uncomfortable bed, leaky toilet and the air con wouldn't heat. Basic breakfast included. Though for $18 Aus a night we couldn't complain.

TRES DECUES

L humidite dans l hotel et toutes les chambres proposees etait tellement importante que le compteur de la chambre disjonctait regulierement. La receptionniste a essaye de nous aider au mieux mais l hotel n etait vraiment ni sain ni propre.Nous avons du chercher un autre hotel.

하필이면 5층에 배정되서 걸어다니는데 죽는 줄..엘레베이터 없음 ㅋㅋ

신투어에서 가깝고 도보 5분거리 위치는 좋으나(골목을 밤에 걸어가기는 좀 무섭지만) 우리는 5층에 배정되어서 (0층에서 5층까지 걸어다님-.-) 직원이 정말 친절하나, 각종 투어 권유하여 조금 부담 ㅋㅋ 5층은 습하고 춥다.
