"Our stay at Pierre and Martine's farmhouse was wonderful! The view from the backyard out into the pasture's is breathtaking and the kindness shown to us and our family was delightful. "The one word that accurately sums up this place is "disappointing". The pictures were obviously taken with lighting that hid or obscured the poor condition the walls and parts of the house were in. The shower was so tiny that I had to use it hunched over almost 90 degrees. There were multiple sockets that were closed off with just duct tape, and the kitchen was in serious need of repainting. "Amazing cabin by the river, everything we needed and super cosy warm with the wood burner. Instructions about the property were perfect and covered everything we needed, easy to find. "Het verblijf was ideaal voor een gezellig weekendje weg met de familie. Wij hebben gebruik gemaakt van de grote oven om lasagne te eten en crocjes te maken. Het weer viel helaas niet zo goed mee, maar op korte autoritjes was er voldoende aanbod om toch iets te beleven. Bv: Neptunusgrotten en Stoomtrein. De toegang tot 1 slaapkamer hebben we gegeven aan degenen die in de nacht niet naar het toilet moeten :). De deur kwam namelijk half uit op de trap."

"This was our 3rd stay in 2 years, each time in a garden room. The terrace is so lovely to have in addition to the room. We asked for a 'more comfy' chair and we were given one which benefitted my wife immensely. The staff are always very helpful and friendly. 1 improvement would be a shower mat as the shower floor tiles are very slippery. On our last 2 visits we have bought a shower mat in a lical shop."
