Beautiful Lakefront Cottage!

Hancock, MI

It's a cozy, two-bedroom lakefront home with a wide front porch. Enjoy swimming in the refreshing lake, or simply sit on the front porch with a cup of coffee and watch the sunset!

The home is completely furnished, linens and kitchen utensils provided. There is great WiFi however the cellular service is spotty. There is a landline phone available for use.

It is located five miles from town, where there are numerous restaurants, shops, a ski hill, snowmobile and ATV rentals, and much more!

Within a mile of the home, there are beautiful cross-country, biking and hiking trails. Get away from your everday life and enjoy the peace and quiet of this area.

My husband and I had a wonderful vacation at this beautiful cozy cottage. There is a lot of sights to see at this centrally located rental. We would defintely stay again and recommend this place. It was very clean and comfortable. We visited many historical sites, fished off the dock, grilled, and sat by the firepit in the evenings. The view is beautiful!

I love staying here. It was my second time. The cabin is cozy, cute, and comfortable. I love the view off the back porch. I've had questions and the property manager always gets back to me promptly. I'm sure I'll be back!

This is a very nice cozy cabin with the waterway right out over the porch. It is in good condition with amenities provided. It is about 25’ x 25’ and the main bedroom has one bed which can sleep 2 and the other a bunk bed which can sleep 3.Total living space might be tight for 5 adults though there is a large porch. There is some minor road noise occasionally during the day but none at night.

Perfect Getaway

It is a cute cottage right on the Canal, close to McLain State Park, clean, and well equipped. It met all our needs while we stayed for 4 nights to drop our daughter off at MTU. Beautiful waterfront property and very relaxing.

Perfect location

This cabin is perfectly located for exploring the entire Keweenaw Peninsula. It had everything we could have possibly needed, was very comfortable, and was a wonderful place for relaxing in between adventures. The views of the lake and the sunsets were spectacular. We would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing base camp for exploring the Keweenah!

Spent 2 nights and slept soundly. Beautiful view! Nice location for anchoring our waterfall tour, dinner in Hancock, and trips to the old central mine area, Fort Wilkins, and the night sky at McClain State Park.

Family biking adventure

We had a fantastic stay at the cottage. Great way to connect with family as well as a jump off spot for biking, hiking, and swimming. Close to town and restaurants. Cottage was clean and well appointed and the sunsets were amazing.

Beautiful view and location

My wife and I visited Houghton to see our son who is a senior at MTU. The location of the cabin is very convenient. It was very cozy with a great view of the water and we enjoyed the fire pit and sunsets. We will definitely stay again.
