「traditional pub with very friendly staff and good quality food. the flat is above the pub but has its own entrance. You can hear people downstairs but this didn't disturb us. We ate both evening we were there and it was excellent and very good value. The flat is in the oldest part of the pub and as such the door frames are low but the ceilings are fine. There was everything we needed and it was nice and clean. Very good value for 2 couples.」

「We had a great stay here as a group of 10 friends over Easter weekend. Lovely area to cook, eat and play games, with lots of nice walks close by. The house is charming and quirky in the best way.」

「朝ごはんはイギリスのコンチネンタルブレックファーストで、色々な種類のものをお料理してくださり、フルーツヨーグルトなども自由に食べれます。温かい飲み物もリクエストしたら、大きなジャーに入ってきて、何杯でもいただけます。お部屋は大きくて、ゆっくりとくつろげます。水回りもとても綺麗でした。とにかく経営されていらっしゃるJaneさんご夫妻はとにかく優しくて、こちらが聞いたことには丁寧にそして優しく接して下さいました。イギリスならでの事も教えてくださり、とても貴重な経験をすることが出来ました。一度チェックアウトして、何日か後にまた宿泊するケースだったのですが、荷物も少し預かってくださり、本当に助けていただきました。このご夫婦の暖かさがあったため、素敵な旅をすることが出来ました。」

「Our stay at Hell Fyre was a delight. We were warmly welcomed by Louise, to find a well-stocked kitchen, and a warm and comfortable home. The period character of the house made this a special holiday for us. We stayed for three weeks, and were pleased to be able to extend our stay a bit – we so enjoyed living here. We walked the local pathways to villages close by. The location made it easy to take day trips to numerous castles, houses and gardens, and if we were ever at a loss for something...

「The property is lovely, like a good hotel suite. It was spotlessly clean and there were lots of clean towels. Lots of plug sockets and a good size mirror. The downside was the shower was lukewarm and we couldn't increase the temperature. Also, the communication wasn't great. There was no info about where to collect or leave the key. Nor was there any acknowledgement when we sent details of our arrival time. A coffee machine would have been nice. 」

「Breakfast was wholesome and the bed comfortable, but there was nowhere (in Ancestry) to eat breakfast apart from on the bed. Shower works well.」

「Hotel claimed not to have been paid by Expedia, billed me a second time on check-in. So I ended up paying twice. Now Expedia and the hotel are blaming each other, neither is being helpful processing my £200.70 refund. Frankly both organizations have absolutely abysmal customer service, really don't care about their customers. The hotel manager was pretty rude and offensive too. 0/5」

「I loved the bar and restaurant staff, super friendly and surprisingly good food in the restaurant. The rooms has great cold AC (rare in Europe for some reason). The Rooms are a bit dated but the beds are comfortable and a comfortable size as well. Complaints? The pool in the picture is a wellness center next door and is paid, not a free amenity. Everything in here aside from the bar itself seems to close really early...」
