"This was a great place for our small family gathering. The open floor layout of the main room was ideal for chatting while cooking and the comfort of the beds ideal for resting after a long day chatting and cooking. We were there in the winter so didn't avail ourselves of the beautiful outdoor areas, but we dreamed of coming back in the summer and doing just that. Thanks for a great stay!"

"Border Point Lodge was the perfect fall (MEA break) getaway for our family of four (2 boys ages 2.5 & 7) another couple (55ish). Owners were super communicative but also “chill” if that makes sense. The pics online are exactly what you pull up to! Bistro string lights welcome you to a cozy main living space. I appreciated that there weren’t fragrance plug ins or heavily fragranced cleaning supplies used either! The online check-in portal was useful and informative. You tube video links to operating thermostats and fireplaces came in handy! Beds were crisp and cozy! We took advantage of a mini crib for our small human which was nice! Kitchen has everything, EVERYTHING!!!! Including an air-fryer, which, with kids was amazing! Kids plates and cups too so we only had to haul a bib.Outdoor activities were a plenty, kayaking, great fireplace with the best swivel/glide chairs, sauna lake plunges and the hot tub. Everything worked perfectly and was easily accessed.We were able to do a few loads of laundry before departing which made unloading back home even lighter.This place is amazing - the owners CARE and it shows. We had a blast! Don’t hesitate to book. "

"I do not recommend that holiday home, the attitude is terrible, there are rodents running around on the roof and along the walls, and there are a lot of them, we did not sleep well there, we left the building early for 4 nights, we needed to return earlier, they refused us. Let them be on their conscience,"

"We had a great stay at this location! Probably one of the cleanest and well stocked rentals we have stayed in. Kyle was quick to respond to questions and the location was lake side with a small beach and dock. We enjoyed the lily pad (for a small extra rental fee) and paddle boat during the day and had a lovely fire at night. It’s a great rental for a small family get-together!"

"Lake was amazing! Shallow and sandy bottom, great fishing, peaceful. The weather was perfect and every night had a different but beautiful sunset. The house was clean, comfortable, and just the right size for family. Kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of appliances and extras. Sunroom was perfect for game nights and afternoon naps. Hope we can have another fun filled time again very soon! The owners were the best at making sure to keep the communication going and answered our questions immediately!"

"The cozy cabin was clean, well-stocked with everything we needed, including beach towels and was very comfortable. The sunroom table/chairs overlooking the lake and the table/chairs on the deck offered choices for enjoyable dining as family or a great spot to read with a snack and beverage. The shed next to the dock was well stocked for fishing, also loved the paddleboards, paddleboat, chairs, games, life jackets and wood for our fire. My grandkids made me promise to rent the cabin again next year!"
