We had an amazing time at the old stables, it’s truly is a beautiful cottage to stay at, the whole cottage is so homely We didn’t want to leave. The village of edale is just down the road and there are plenty of other local villages a few miles away, we loved our stay and will definitely be staying again

Despite the rain we enjoyed a delightful week at The Old Stable.

Despite the rain we enjoyed a delightful week at The Old Stable. The cottage was cosy and warm with quality kitchen wear and decor throughout. An extensive DVD library was appreciated and the peace and quiet suited us perfectly. Barber Booth is a perfect location for trekking and enjoying the beautiful scenery around the Peak District. I highly recommend this cottage and would love to stay again in the future.....I was reluctant to leave....

Lovely surroundings.

Lovely surroundings. Very peaceful. Lots of local walks in all directions. Be aware that campers stream past the cottage during summer weekends and can see straight in.
