Quail on Sunset is the ultimate getaway to the country! Bask in the beauty and tranquility of this one-of-a-kind property. Take in the view of Mt Hood while birds serenade you. Within a short 10-minute drive the beautiful scenic streets of downtown Hood River await you. Historic buildings host a bustling shopping district featuring boutiques, outdoor adventure gear outfitters, art galleries and plenty of restaurants. Make sure to visit award winning Wineries, Breweries and Distilleries. Saturday Market offers an array of farm fresh seasonal produce, meats and cheeses and baked goodies.

This home is located on one level. The living room, dining area and kitchen are full of light with beautiful views from every window. The kitchen is wonderfully equipped with everything you need to whip up a delicious meal. There is a gorgeous sunroom just off the kitchen that overlooks the property. The perfect place to soak in the morning sun while enjoying a cup of coffee.

The Master bedroom features an En Suite full bathroom with shower only, TV, private entrance to the back deck. Both of the Queen bedrooms have their own 1/2 bath with toilet and sink. The fourth bedroom has a set of twin bunkbeds along with a pull-out sofa sleeper that is just right for kids.

The Columbia River Gorge, with its mountains and rivers, offers the vacationer and recreation enthusiast the opportunity to windsurf, kiteboard, Stand UP Paddle, mountain bike, kayak, golf, ski, hike, fish, or just relax in the unhurried pace of a natural paradise. Historic buildings line the beautifully scenic streets of downtown Hood River, with a bustling shopping district featuring boutiques, designer shops, outdoor adventure gear outfitters, antique shops, art galleries and many restaurants.

The Hood River Valley is known for its luscious apples, pears, cherries, peaches and other fruits, and for the view of the majestic snowcapped peak of Mt. Hood. People from all over Oregon make an annual trek in the fall to the many farm stands to stock up on fresh apples and pears. Other produce is available and varies by season. Hood River also offers award winning Vineyards, Breweries and Distilleries.

The Mt. Hood region and its more than sixty miles of forested mountains, 77 waterfalls and myriad lakes and streams are a rip-roaring mecca for outdoor adventure. The mountain is home to four ski areas and offers the country's only year-round skiing and snowboarding.

This is just what we were looking for. Great location for us. Just outside of town. Very quite area. The listing was accurate. If we come back to this area, we will 100% stay here again. If you mountain Bike, the post Canyon trail system is incredible. We went on several hikes from this location also.

This house would be great for many things, wine tasting, family gatherings, etc. For us, we were visiting Hood River to enjoy some of the great mountain biking in the area. This place had ample space both inside and out, very nice deck, yard, etc. The kitchen was also well appointed for cooking at the house. We would certainly recommend it.

The place was wonderfully clean & the kitchen well stocked as we made most all our meals. The location was perfect, just a skip from Post Canyon. We so enjoyed the beautiful landscaping & loved hearing the frogs lulling us to sleep and the song birds in the morning.

We loved staying at the property. It has such a great view and the sun room was perfect for starting and ending our day in to watch the sun rise and set. The kitchen has everything we could've needed and the layout of the house was perfect for our little get together.

My kids loved the bunk bed room filled with books, toys and plenty of games/puzzles! The property was great with lots of room to run, basketball hoop and swing! The kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and house was clean! Would 100% stay here again.

The setting was remarkable! Often all you could hear was the wind moving through the trees or the water rippling through the creek. We loved the comfortable space the house afforded, all the morning light in the sunroom, and the convenience of the number of bathrooms. Everything we needed was there to help us enjoy our family time together, from a nicely stocked kitchen to games and puzzles to help us enjoy eachother's company. The starry night sky was amazing and watching the quails' parade was a treat. We all had a wonderful time!

Was here with my siblings and their families and it was just magical. The kids (and us adults too) loved the property space and the basketball hoop and ball in the backyard. Leaves were all changing too and it was gorgeous! Tons of space and the kitchen had everything you could want/need especially for a big group. Appreciated all the extra towels and blankets too. Great for all ages too. Would book again for a good family space that wasn’t far from town!

This roomy home worked well for our family, and the ramp to the back door was ideal for our family member who uses a power wheelchair. We especially liked it’s location, less that 10 minutes away from downtown Hood River, and we loved watching the quail in the early morning. The kitchen was furnished with all we needed to prepare a few meals. We enjoyed driving the Fruit Loop, and visiting some markets, and wineries. We would love to return to Quail on Sunset!

We were in the area for a wedding in White Salmon. Great property close to many terrific restaurants in downtown Hood River. The home was very kid friendly. Beds extremely comfortable and the home was very clean and had everything we needed. Many great parks and hiking opportunities close by. Very comfortable sunroom where we spent our mornings having coffee and there is a great backyard deck with plenty of seating where we spent evenings enjoying wine and snacks. Would stay again.
