Damage & House Rules Policy / Guest Responsibilities. We inspect every condo at every check out. We again inspect every condo before every Guest Arrival. We have documentation for each condo to assure the condo is good condition and working order before your arrival. 1) Guest is responsible to pay for any missing/broken/damaged items, extra check out cleaning & for a drain or toilet that requires clearing due to Guest clogging the drain or toilet. Every condo has a plunger for the toilet. If you clog the toilet, please use the plunger provided. Calling a Plumber is a Guest Expense. 2) Do not use the Kitchen Sink Garbage disposal for potato peels, fruit rinds, banana peels, pineapples, egg shells, noodles, rice etc. Calling a Plumber is a Guest Expense. 3) Sand: Please rinse off all sand (self and gear) before entering the hotel/condo (there are rinsing stations at the beach) to avoid extra cleaning fee and clogging the shower drains. 4) Lanai: Please do not hang towels or other items from the lanai. Please do not feed the birds. 5) No smoking in condo, on lanai or in common areas. Guest charged to have upholstery, drapes and linens cleaned, deodorized. 6) Guest responsible to pay for locksmith if they lock themselves out the of the bathrooms or damage a lock.CANCELLATIONS: 1) Reservation deposit is non-refundable. 2) Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the check in date can have the deposit applied to another stay at the same condo within one year of the original check in date. 3) Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to check in will forfeit deposit. 4) Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to check in will forfeit deposit and rental balance payment. 5) We strongly encourage you to get travel insurance so a cancellation can be recovered.

Location is perfect. Waikiki was crowded and the Ilikai had all the facilities (including beach) within very short distances. Great to have a 2 bedroom apartment rather than trying to manage the family in hotel rooms.
Pros: Check in was perfect! Vallet parking great, a bit pricey. Accommodations for my family of six worked out great. We didn’t do any cooking but there were plenty of kitchen utensils and pots/pans that I saw. Property was very nice, plenty of shops. The middle common area was perfect for our large family of 30 to hang out in the evening. Customer service all over the property was more than great. Cons: TVs in the master and living room did not work day of arrival but were both fixed the next day. The blinds should be upgraded. The sliding doors in the master bedroom need to be replaced or fixed, they were very stiff and hard to move. Same with the master closet doors. Bathroom could be upgraded as well but served its purpose. All in all, I’d stay at the Ilikai again.
We enjoyed our stay at Ilikai Hotel, everything went well. Rooms were clean with comfortable beds. Food and beaches were close by.

The location was great, easy to get to the sights we visited. The condo was perfect for our group of six , 2 bedrooms, 2 bath and two comfortable couch’s in the living room. Storage and closet space was very good.
The property was fairly well. The only issues were one of the bath tub had a slow drain and would fill up quickly and the patio and bedroom sliding doors were hard to open and close. Also the parking was great but expensive. Other than that our stay was great.
The only suggestion i would give would be to secure the bed post closer to the bed frame to prevent the pillow from falling into the crack during the night, but overall we enjoyed our stay here. Thank you.
The location was beautiful, the only flaw was the lack of communication and ants on the counter. Our host was not welcoming, I messaged the day before we arrived and didn’t get a response until the next day, after I reached out again, then again the day we arrived and didn’t hear back until the next day. The condo was unlocked 15 minutes after our arrival, mind you we were already waiting 1 hour prior to check in. Other than the poor communication, the condo was beautiful, spacious and had everything you needed for cooking and even had beach towels, much appreciated. It was clean and had 2 beautiful lanai’s with amazing views. Excellent location.

Air con in bedroom could use updating. View was ok, not really a great ocean view but good for the price. I liked sitting outside on the lanai. The apt was very nice & clean & kitchen had all we needed to cook. Bathrooms were nice but need ventilation but just open the doors after showering. I appreciated not having to check in. The only annoyance was a beeping sound heard periodically everyday & night from down below, sounded like a busy signal. The parking was very expensive. That’s just how it is in Waikiki nowadays since parking is premium. We were just too lazy to park in the cheaper garage. The upside were the friendly employees in the valet service. They get a10 out of 10.

Great location goods views lge rooms very comfortable beds
It was very nice room, had good views, great beds but needs air conditioning replaced so noisy we couldn’t use it and it had no ceiling fans, we were lucky some days we had a breeze, but seriously needs replacing sounds like a race track for cars, but would stay again and test air conditioning in room first.

Clean and Conveniently Located Condo!
We enjoyed our stay at the Ilikai 526. This property is conveniently located on the edge of Waikiki. The condo was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Because it is situated at the end of the hall, it was also very quiet. We appreciated that the refrigerator had an ice maker as my grandson needed to fill his water bottle daily before a swim meet. The air conditioners kept the rooms cooled, although they were noisy. The twin beds were typical hotel type beds - just okay. I would stay here again despite the noisy air conditioners because it was clean, spacious and conveniently located.

Great Location, Awful ammenities
We spent a week at this property, and had several issues. There was some good and some bad about this place. We have stayed at places where they are owned by an individual and places like this, where it is a company. The personal touch is missing on this one. Pros and cons as follows:
Pro:
1. Great Location, by Hilton and lagoon
2. Nice water view
3. Big enough for 4 people
Cons:
1. It appears they shopped at goodwill for the kitchen. Pans have badly chipped Teflon (except 1), the large pot is missing a handle, the tools are very poor, with the knives so dull I couldn't even cut my hand if I wanted to, and the handles are falling apart. There was no knife sharpener, so good luck.
2. They supply a very bare minimum of supplies they state this, but come on how about hand soap at the sinks, and more than 4 rolls of toilet paper.
3. There are 4 beach towels and 4 bath towels, no spares.
4. The place is run down, it is an old building (50 years old), the condition of the place is OK.
5. The elevators are terrible in the building, slow and always crowded. (Tip, there are two service elevators that are rarely used at night. Go through the wood double doors across from reception).
6. The pool was very crowded and dirty. At the end of the day, it was hard to find a chair and the water was gross.
The place works, but just. I think the price for this place was fair and being that close to the beach was nice. If it weren't for those few things, my rating would be lower.
Unclean, unsafe and unkept. Broken dishwasher. Broken refrigerator. Broken Master Bedroom bed. Broken light fixtures. Ants. Mold on the ceiling in the living area. Nails and staples coming out of walls. Marijuana cigarette remnants left on the Master Bedroom balcony. No central air. Two extremely loud window air conditioning units. A/C units much too small for the space. Second bedroom had no A/C unit making it uncomfortable for my children to sleep. One of the neighbors was a tobacco smoker so there was often a nasty smell on the balconies. Filthy. I mean disgustingly filthy. I had to buy cleaning supplies and clean it myself. Did I mention the outrageous cleaning fee? We paid upfront but were told refunds would have to be requested after our stay by email. We wanted to leave immediately. I contacted Hawaiian Vacation Properties (HVP) numerous times. My concerns were disregarded. Staying here made our trip far less enjoyable than it should have been, especially for the cost. I have lots of photographs. I don’t see a place to post them. I will never stay at another HVP. I would never recommend them. I had to give them 1 star but that is because it provided basic shelter.
Awesome views and great location. Central to everything. Parking valet is a little inconvenient, but other that the property was great overall. Could use some updated kitchen knives and utensils overall. Sliding doors were not fully closing and walls are very thin.
Overall still a great place to stay and enjoy Waikiki.
Nice location in Honolulu for beach access. We used the kitchen almost every morning instead of waiting in line for coffee and breakfast at restaurants. Really enjoyed our property to relax in after a day out.
We loved the condo. It was very accurately marketed. We appreciated the boogie boards, cooler bag and beach chairs provided. Only issue was the cleaning fee and then there was so much dust on the tv stand I could write my name in it.
This vacation rental is exactly what the website described. Highly impressed!

Our Stay at Ilikai Hotel and Suites Unit 526
Checkin was wonderful! Just go to condo and enter code that was provided in info packet. Unit was perfect for our family of 6. The only problem we had was the linens on Master bedroom bed were not fresh looking -tiny blades of grass, holes at bottom of fitted sheet, etc. We were brought replacement sheets when we finally got up with someone the next day. The problem is that there is no emergency contact number for after 5:00 PM. Since we checked in after that, we were stuck until next day! I would definitely recommend this unit! Beautiful view and perfect location. Lagoon was so much fun for our 3 year old and teen grandchildren. Rented paddle boards then spent rest of day on beach. Walked Waikiki Beach, shopped, ate at Outrigger Waikiki Duke’s Canoe Club two nights.
