Extra credit to Duty Manager Nicole for the arrangement of room change due to the endless spitting noise from an unbehave neighbour in early morning , highly appreciated for the service recovery. This is what I would have done as an ex 5-star hotel FO colleague.
Friendly and sincere check-in services as it’s a bit long queue on Valentine’s day, yet they apologized and make you feel very welcomed still, and automatically postponed our check-out time when we have waited for a bit long.
Clean room and user-friendly design. Spacious on our room type. Excellent sunset view especially in the bedroom!
We had stayed at the rooftop suite for two nights, everything was going quite well, the room is spacious and neat, the view is stunning, two toilets are very convenient. We had really enjoyed our stay until checking out. We have been told that we gotta leave 10 minutes for the housekeeper to check the room during the check-in. I think this was pretty strange since I already gave my credit card for guaranty.
When we check out, the receptionist asked us to sit at the sofa to wait until everything being checked. After waiting for 15 mins, I went and asked how long it gonna takes longer while I saw many people just checking out with handing the keys only. Another receptionist explained that they have to make sure guests who staying at suite do not leave any of their belongings, that’s why we had to wait until the room is fully inspected. I would say this is a very lousy explanation, they don’t bother to check the standard room but the suite only? Apparently, they wanna make sure nothing ‘valuables’ been taken from the suite.
This is the worst experience ever, paying more money for a suite for better relaxation but turn out treated as a theft, this is absolutely awful! As a matter of fact, your credit card is on their hands that could charge you anytime. This doesn’t make any sense.
The front desk was really helpful with my reservation. As i wanted to do pay in advance booking ( since my fd helped me pay ) rather than me having to show the same card as the one i have to input during booking. She helped me go through the same website as i was in to assist me. I found that really heartwarming and welcoming. Moreover when i went to check in, the front desk agent was really nice and kind. Just a downside that i didnt have a facewash or makeup remover with me and they didnt have it at the back but that was more of my fault. All in all, definitely gonna go for stays there again! It was a very pleasant stay 💖
I booked harbour view , but found window is badly insulated and street noise from below traffic felt disturbing. Also the hotel just uses current covid measures as an excuse to remove nespresso machines from rooms. Just cost savings! Not a single case worldwide recorded of infection from a coffe maker . Room was very small at below 50% occupancy rate and late check in something comfortable would have been a nice upgrade. Again just pure cost saving.
They have pre-check-in check in relation to COVID-19 which makes me feel safe to stay in the hotel. Staff are Super nice and professional. I will definitely come back again.
Old fashioned hotel without usb socket. Terrible lobby decoration. Receptionists reply with stupid answer. Need to wait for 15minutes while checking out. I thought I was in the 20th century. You can have a better choice. Trust me!
