Hotel is in a great location with easy access to Honfleur harbour on foot and on site parking readily available. The hotel is built around an old French mansion and retains a lot of character and charm and it a good place to stay however the room furnishings are poor quality and let the place down.

I loved everything about my stay. The room was gorgeous. The grounds and gardens relaxing and lovely. The staff was attentive and you could tell how much they cared for the hotel as well. It’s run by the 3rd generation of family and the loving care for the place and the guests is apparent. Parking is free and onsite and it’s just a small stroll into the main areas of town yet set back enough from the busy-ness.

What a charming Inn! The property is full of antiques and collectibles giving it an old world appeal. We were impressed with the town as well, picture perfect! Hotel location was walkable to waterfront, restaurants and shops. In the evening, guests gathered in the spacious living room where we were served cocktails or wine. Felt similar to a B&B. Host was kind and quite helpful. We would definitely stay again if we get the chance to return.

Very convenient location within easy walking distance of restaurants and old harbour. Generous and varied buffet breakfast. Only downside for people of mature years - steep staircase to top floor bedrooms. Would definitely stay at L'Ecrin again but would request a room on a lower floor!

There was no lift or restaurant although they did serve a very good breakfast. Staff were extremely helpful in recommending some good value/quality restaurants within walking distance. We were a family party of 8 and were allocated the separate dining room for breakfast for our stay. Everyone was very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful.

We had a great suite next to the pool, so easy access to sun loungers. Breakfast was vast with lots of variety. This is our 5th stay at this hotel, we really like it and the pool is a must in hot weather.

Lovely hotel, full of character. Excellent safe parking and very convenient for Honfleur. Loved the outdoor pool. Check in and check out times were great compared to other hotels so we had plenty of time to explore the town and enjoy the pool on our overnight stay. Highly recommended this hotel.

We had a great experience at Hotel L’Ecrin. The service was exceptional and the room was excellent. Everyone who worked at the hotel was extremely kind and helpful. Parking was easy which is always a bonus in small French towns. The location could not have been better. We would definitely recommend a stay here!
