Recently remodeled home in Old Homosassa. Almost an acre corner lot overlooking the vast bay. This is a large four-bedroom, two baths. We have a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals. All the furnishings are high-end. The property has a screened lanai room, oversized deck patio with gas grill, table chairs, screened boathouse with a cleaning station on the dock with sink, ICE MACHINE, and open patio with table/chairs. Boat tie-up area. Floating dock area for kayaks. Truly a fisherman's paradise.
Sit in the lanai room or the boathouse and watch the Manatees and Dolphins. You can fish or crab right off the dock—four Kayaks and one Canoe available. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. DIRECT ACCESS TO RIVER AND GULF. Less than 1 mile to the boat ramp, Mc Rae's, Freezer, Shelly's Fish House, Old Mill, Shed, and Riverside Resort. Minutes to Homosassa Wild Life Park, Publix, Tractor Supply, and Walmart. Close to everything!!!!

This is a gorgeous home. It was exactly as pictured, and very clean. The waterfront area was beautiful. We enjoyed the sitting areas on the back porch and the screened room off the boathouse. The ice maker was a super plus, saving us some trips to town for ice before we ventured out on our boat for the day. The canal leads right to the river and was only a short ride out to The Gulf. The home is nestled in a nice, quiet little off the beaten path part of Old Homosassa. We had a wonderful stay. Overall, a great find, would definitely book again!

This house is it. The pictures don’t even do it justice. Very spacious and well decorated. The outside space is a natural haven. Would rent here again.

Great experience with the rental.

We've stayed at dozens of properties from the keys to big bend and this was probably the cleanest. We're just disappointed in the scallops being so thin but that's not the fault of the property owner. We plan on returning in the future and this property was very nice indeed.

The cleanest nicest house we have ever found through vrbo. We loved the house, the yard, the location, the porch and deck, the well-stocked kitchen, and everything else. It was perfect for our family spring break adventures. Thank you for having us! We definitely want to visit again soon!

Great accommodations, well equipped, very clean, and beds were very comfortable. Loved the screened in porch and dock. Great neighbor Dave was also a fantastic fishing guide. Perfect location just off the Homosassa River and near the gulf. Can’t wait to come back.

Fantastic home and SUPER CLEAN!

Great home that was well stocked with everything we needed. The check-in/out process was super smooth. Beds were extremely comfortable and the property was absolutely spotless. The cleanest VRBO I have ever stayed in and I’ve been in a lot of them. Would highly recommend without hesitation.

Homosassa Birthday Trip

The house was great, not too far from the Freezer, and Shed. Water access was good. The ice maker was fantastic. Really enjoyed the fire pit at night. Very good time and will try to rent again.

Perfect Home away from Home

This house is perfect, we booked it for our yearly family scalloping trip and it lived up to everything described. The house is setup perfectly and has so many small things that make it great: -ice maker on the dock for our boat each day -Games for the family -fully stocked kitchen - so clean - comfortable beds - and the list goes on. We already are trying to figure out dates out for next year so we can book again!

We had a great stay. The place was clean and the use of the kayaks were great. We were just confused because the listing says hot tub but there was not a hot tub on the property. We would stay there again though. We would definitely recommend this property.

Great property

We saw manatees off the dock! Very cool. The house, boathouse, ice machine, and yard are awesome. Very busy area this time of year on the weekends (May) so if you can stay during the week you might enjoy it most. Several restaurants close by so that is handy-though the kitchen and dining room in the rental is large and well appointed.

Slice of Old Florida💙

Upon arrival walking in the door was so great, just as the pictures showed , beautifully open with great space. nicely decorated with lake house accents. The bedrooms were small but the beds were nice. Everything we needed was in the kitchen and at the boat dock. Enjoyed Sunsets, so beautiful!! Very peaceful, enjoyed sitting in the screened in area. We had a great time and enjoyed the home!!! We would for sure go back. Thanks for sharing!!

Gorgeous River Home

We were in town for a music festival in this house is absolutely stunning. Everything you could possibly need is there. All of the furnishings and accessories are top notch. Super convenient to all of our favorite places. Plenty of parking. Beautiful lawn and dock area. My only regret is that I did not have time to make use of the kayaks. If we go to Homosassa for an event again, this is the first property I will try to rent.

Perfect Fishing Get-a-Way

This was the best VRBO I have ever stayed in. Extremely clean, well appointed and welled stocked with every tool and pot and pan. We took our mother, 89, and Aunt 93, and the house was flat and so easy for them to get around. They are sisters and loved sitting on the porch visiting while we fished. The ice maker was a luxury to have available. We also chartered Capt Dave and that was fun getting on his boat at the house dock. We have stayed in many different places in Homosassa, this was our favorite.
