About this property

Hellgate Island scallop house, boat access only

  • Visit Hellgate Island Scallop House, a unique waterfront property only reachable by boat. Experience luxury living on your own private island. Immerse yourself in serene surroundings and tranquility. Just 15 minutes to the many boat ramps and 15 minutes to the gulf.
    Fish right off the dock for snook, redfish or the occasional tarpon.
    Porpoise, manatee & river otters are a common visitor. There is a large deck / dock for grilling and entertainment or just unwind in the large hammock.
    We have two docks one on the front of the house directly on the Homosassa River and the back dock on the protected back lagoon. A well behaved dog is allowed with an additional $50.00 fee. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture or beds and cannot be left alone in the house unless crated.
