「We spent the New Years holiday at Salty Bear cabin and had a lovely stay. While the cabin is charmingly rustic, it was not lacking in modern comforts. The heating worked well. Kitchen was well-appointed. Beds were cozy. Shower pressure was strong. Hot tub was perfect. 「This was first time in the area, We had most wonderful stay at hodge podge lodge. The house was beautiful and sparking clean, well organized and have everything what we needed for stay. It located in nice neighborhood near soda spring ski resort. The house was warm and cozy , heater was good , wood stove was nice touch with plenty of firewood supplies. 「The cabin was really cosy and the location to Sierra was great. The owner is very friendly and keeps up good communication. Things to keep in mind are the cabin is a little difficult to find and the winter terrain might be a little difficult for normal cars. 「For a late summer Tahoe trip with friends, this place was perfect. It’s close enough to walk to the beach and restaurants but set back enough to only hear woodland sounds in the morning. Check in and out was very straightforward. We had very comfortable weather where having the windows open at night was plenty to keep the place cool.」
