"The room was clean and stocked as advertised. I did like the small fridge and microwave. They served breakfast from 6-10 but we didn't try it. The owner did provided us with a list of places to eat in town. The town and bridges were a nice getaway!"

"This was an amazing house to rent. It was super cute and clean. It was walkable to the downtown. We stayed during the Bridges of Madison County festival and we were able to walk there. "Highly recommend a stay at the old stone farm! The owner was super responsive and helpful leading up to and during our trip. The place is absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed lazy mornings on the farm and ending out day around the fire pit at night. It was clean and cozy and the perfect background for curling up with a book and taking fun pictures outside. Our daughter loved getting to know all the animals and spent hours at the fence watching them do their thing and feeding them. The house is well appointed with everything you need to make fun dinners for the family or host as small gathering like we did. The house itself is a destination but it’s also an easy trip to Wintwrset or even Des Moines. Highly recommend you check it out. I’m sure it is beautiful in the spring and fall.
