「I put in the postcode but car sat nav directed me as far as the local pub only! After turning down a wrong lane past the pub in the pitch dark (9pm on an October evening) ascending up at a dead end I rang the owner who instructed me to carry on past the pub for another 2 miles! I eventually arrived at a building signposted as the ‘equestrian centre’ so I drove a bit further and ended up driving around some lane in a woods (surrounded by curious deer and badgers!). 「The room was lovely, attention to detail was excellent they thought of everything for the room or should I say suite! There was a hot tub outside that we used. Breakfast was served in our room….lots of choice for breakfast and the food was delicious. We had booked 3 nights but only stayed one night unfortunately. We were going to a wedding and I had booked the wrong hotel! The staff were very accommodating trying to arrange for us to go to the wedding hotel which they did! So it was an...

「We had a wonderful stay. Our room was small but very comfortable with views of the hills. The tea and coffee choices are the best I've ever seen anywhere. Lorna is a lovely host and makes the best breakfast with plenty of choices. The location is approx. 15 minutes walk into Keswick and the Threkeld trail, just down the hill, make walking there better away from the traffic. We would definitely recommend Brookfield and hope to vist again. 」

「オーナーは気さくで楽しい親切な方。立地は徒歩で湖やレストランの多い中心部まで行け便利。少し離れているため静かなのが良い。部屋は明るく景色も良くインテリアが素敵。ベッドもゆったり広めでくつろげるが椅子が2脚あったら申し分ない。食堂はスレートの壁とモダンなインテリアでゆったりしている。フルブレックファストは盛り付けも美しくとても美味しかった。また湖水地方に来たらぜひまた泊まりたい。」
