"The tree house matched the description perfectly! The host was very responsive, the house was clean, and the temperature was comfortable. All instructions were provided prior to our arrival and easy to understand. The manager was friendly and we loved spending time with the animals. It was a little pricey but I would stay again. "Ben’s place was very cozy and comfortable. The location was great. Close to UConn and in a pretty area. The set up was great with a very comfortable bed, stocked kitchen, lots of hot water. The owner also freshly ground our coffee. The only downside was the sounds from the owners main house above-footsteps, voices… all normal but hard to ignore-sound proofing would go a long way. Good stay overall. "

"This property got good reviews so I booked it. I have no idea who had previously reviewed it! I was not impressed. The rooms are straight out of the 1970’s! A decade I love to dance to but not a decor I desire in a hotel. It had a faint aroma of the 70’s as well. (Old and stale) The beds had the hardest mattresses I have ever encountered. Like sleeping on plywood. The room/bathroom was seemingly “clean” although I question how clean it could truly be when that dated. The continental breakfast was less than impressive but there was coffee so I was pleased with that. The Scottish Inns is not a place I would recommend."
