The house was SO nice. The kitchen was well appointed and we enjoyed spending time together cooking. The deck with its view over the harbor was peaceful and relaxing. So close to the lake and downtown Saugatuck that we were able to get the most our of our short time there. We'll be back!

Great location and family friendly

This house was very well suited for our family of seven. It is close to the trail to Oval Beach and chain ferry. We enjoyed beautiful views on the deck. The owner was very responsive!

Beautiful home, spacious, very clean and perfect for.our get-together. The location was ideal and the view of the lake was spectacular! The house was stocked with everything you need. Denise was very accommodating and easy to work with.

Great rental

In the area for a wedding and this property fit 4 couples together. The smallest bed was a little too small but accurately described. The space as a whole was much nicer than I was anticipating. Tucked away with great views and a larger space. The kitchen was stocked with amenities and the property owner was easy to communicate with. My only complaint, which I could have discussed prior to I just didn’t think about it, was there were scented plugins throughout the house. This doesn’t bother some but it makes me nauseous. Overall, I would highly recommend.

Dutch Getaway

Large house with a very unique floor plan as well as lots of steps to get into the house. Comfortable and equipped with everything we needed with easy check in and check out.Homeowner was super friendly and helpful!

Beautiful view and perfect location

Perfect location for us to stay between my daughter in Holland and daughter in Grand Rapids and attending a wedding in Allegan. The view was grand and minutes to the beach and downtown Saugatuck. Very spacious. We will definitely stay again.

25th annual sisters trip

First… we fell in love with Saugatuck! The location of Denise’s house was very convenient (wish the ferry stayed open past Labor Day but we had no problem without it!) The house was perfect for us! Very clean and well stocked. Plenty of seating and bedrooms very comfortable! Thank you Denise

Great Place on the Active Side of Kalamazoo River

A great place for our Family of 5! A short drive away from Oval Beach, and walking distance to Mt Baldhead and the chain ferry made this an ideal location. Inside, we found a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of room to lounge in the comfy living room as well as a large dining area. The balcony is the signature spot to enjoy a cup of coffee or a meal and take in the great views of Lake Kalamazoo. The deco is modern and fun. There were plenty of towels as well as bathroom products. The 4 beds were comfy with nice linens and pillows. Outside is a Weber grill in working order and a large fire pit-- a nice touch with included firewood. The only wrinkle was a goofy parking set up in front, which was easier to pull into and a challenge to pull out due to a blind curve on Park.

Enjoyed our stay - property was spacious - lots of seating and big bedrooms. Great location close to chain ferry, oval beach, and mt. baldheaded. Lots of steps but didn't bother us. Would stay here again for sure.

Saugatuck girls trip

Good location, very clean and roomy. Very comfortable beds. The home is well equipped. The bathrooms are a bit outdated and could use privacy doors within the bathrooms. Denise was responsive and gave good recommendations. Overall a great location and a very good place to stay.

Weekend Wedding

Had a great stay at this spacious and well equipped Saugatuck home. Located two minutes from the chain ferry to go into Saugatuck with a great patio view of the Kzoo River and the endless boat traffic. We grilled one night and was pleasantly surprised that the grill was clean and had a plenty of gas in the tank (both a rarity at VRBO). The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed (plates, silverware, pans, spices, etc…) Temps hit 90 degrees and the A/C worked great. Communication with Denise was outstanding. This property is a no brainer to book with either a larger family or group of friends.

Relaxing stay in Saugatuck

The 4bedrooms are so spacious and the living areas (living room, dining, kitchen) are so inviting to hang out with family and friends together. While I've stayed at many rentals, I was impressed by the small touches available here - enough paper towels, detergent, TVs in the rooms, smart thermostat, fully stocked cooking supplies in the kitchen, etc. We could easily have just brought ourselves and clothes and been set! Also, we spent a lot of time on the deck, which had a view of the river. Those made for some relaxing mornings and sunset evenings. The owner was also very easy to reach and communicate with. Five stars all around!

Great for family, very comfortable

Was in town for a wedding, stayed here with family including 7 adults and 2 toddlers. It fit us all well. Well stocked kitchen and everything comfortable. Would stay again. Accommodating owner was easy to work with.
