「This was a delightful place to stay and the hosts are so lovely to deal with. Really great for an extended family group like ours and bonus to be able to bring the dogs. The beach is great and the kids (and dogs) loved playing games through the wonderful high sand dunes. The youngest was very excited to get to see the water tank being filled by the big truck and the very nice 'water guy' answered all his questions. This is a great spot to enjoy some time together in a peaceful environment.」

「Very handy location, close to the beach and the Himatangi Beach Store. The kitchen was well-stocked too, and loved the Netflix on TV. It was especially accommodating for large groups like ours; we had nine of us, so the multiple bedroom arrangements and bathrooms were a nice bonus. Marie was also very easy to communicate with. Only thing was that we couldn't find a recycling bin on premises, but that was about it.」

「Wow, what a hidden gem tucked into the sandhills at Waitaere beach. A perfectly private spot for an extened family holiday. Beautifuly clean, great outside and inside spaces for kids and adults alike. We loved watching the sunsets while sitting by the fire and felt very privileged to have our own private path through the sand dunes to the beach. Will recommend to friends.」

「We had a great time there, able to play boardgames on the large dining table and go to the beach. Five bedrooms including 2 extensions giving on the lounge that had glass doors, ok for keeping an eye on children I suppose, but adults may feel less comfortable. Plenty of options for toilets and showers with a bathroom with toilets +shower, a separate shower in the laundry and separate toilets. Lovely front garden with well sheltered patio and succulents everywhere, we were enjoying being there...
