Summary:
Walk anywhere from this contemporary, 2 bedroom apartment in Hobart's CBD. So close to the shopping precinct, the wharf (take the ferry directly to MONA) or the hospital/uni if you are staying for work. Enjoy the open-plan kitchen/living/dining areas with access to a large outdoor deck where you can take in the views across the city. A study space is all set up with access to wifi and a desk if you require one. Complete with a car park, your stay in Hobart could not be more comfortable or convenient.
The Space:
Comfort and convenience are top of the list at this inner-city apartment which is so close to everything and yet quietly tucked away at the end of Collins Street. Located in an apartment complex, the property is professionally cleaned and cared for.
The apartment has two large bedrooms, each furnished with a queen bed. The master bedroom has access to a walk in robe and ensuite. Both bedrooms are light and sunny with floor to ceiling windows and direct access to the outdoor deck.
The kitchen/living/dining area is all open-plan and you may choose to eat at the dining table or more casually on the bar stools at the kitchen. The kitchen has been decked out with all the essentials for home catering and also features a coffee machine with a few pods to get you started.
A separate study has been furnished with a desk and office chairs for those guests WFH.
The primary bathroom is fitted out with a washer/dryer for guest convenience.
You will have access to 1 x car space for the duration of your stay.
Guest Access:
Keys are collected from a location several blocks from the apartment. Guests are provided with information upon confirming their reservation.
The Neighborhood:
The apartment is situated in the best location for comfortably exploring Hobart from. You can walk to all major attractions including the wharf area which is home to the MONA ferry. Salamanca Market is only a 5-10 minute easy walk and the CBD is literally 2 minutes on foot.
Other Things to Note:
As the apartment is within a complex, the body corporate are very strict with short stay accommodation. In order to keep the harmony with long term residents we have implemented a few basic house rules which predominantly involve restricted access to the outdoor balcony after certain hours to keep disruption to a minimum. Guests are not permitted to use the amenities within the complex, namely the pool and gym area (these areas are reserved for long term tenants). The apartment itself is however of course yours to enjoy during your stay.
The ducted heating is currently out of order, however there are portable heaters in all rooms to ensure the apartment is warm.
Interaction with Guests:
Guests are given instructions for a self check-in which are comprehensive and detailed. Help is only a message away if needed.
Please note that when booking and paying by card, a small fee will appear on your statement as a “ReslyPay” charge. This fee is set by the booking platform and is not controlled by us. Thank you for your understanding.
