Enjoy the peace and privacy of your own bushland retreat. Wallabies, native birds, eagles and other wildlife can often be seen around the property. You may also encounter insects and other natural bushland residents — part of the authentic Tasmanian experience.

With no streetlights, Devil House is perfect for stargazing and enjoying the night sky. On clear nights, you may even have the opportunity to see the Aurora Australis.

🌱 Off-Grid Living

Devil House operates using tank water, solar power, generators, gas and a greywater system. Guests are asked to be mindful of water and energy use during their stay.

🚗 Getting Here

Access to the property includes well-maintained gravel roads. A car is strongly recommended as there is no regular public transport to the property. Taxis and Uber may be available. Please drive carefully, particularly at night, as there are no streetlights.

Self check-in is available via a lockbox. All guests are required to complete our online Check-In Form and provide valid photo identification before arrival. The form contains our House Rules and Terms & Conditions. Once completed, guests will receive their self check-in and access details.
