Bobbie was an excellent host, cooked a delicious breakfast and gave us a great personalized tour. We look forward to returning to this beautiful estate on our next visit.」

「Prachtig ingerichte villa, met veel aandacht voor detail. Elke kamer heeft een eigen sfeer. De eigenaresse is een warme en actieve vrouw, die vol energie in de keuken staat en zelf de prachtige tuin onderhoud. De ontvangst was fijn en we kregen een uitgebreide tour door het huis. De villa is centraal gelegen, met voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Het ontbijt home made en heerlijk (we hebben in de middag nog genoten van de meegekregen stukken appeltaart).」

「This place was an amazing place to stay. The staff was great and very friendly. I enjoyed my stay and recommend this place to anyone who wants a romantic or quiet weekend getaway. We learned so much about the history in Mississippi and how Natchez, MS played a huge portion of Mississippi history. We learned that the Greg Iles books portrayed an accurate account of some of the real-life events that happened in that area.」

「Right in the heart of the historic district and close to everything. The hostess provided us with recommendations and made sure everything was as expected and needed.」

「Great stay. The only reason for the 4 stars was that there was some upgrades actively going on with the property, which when complete will be great. We had a slight issue with the shower, but it was fixed within 5 minutes. The breakfast was great! The staff was excellent!」

「This is a perfect place to relax. The beds are wonderful. The host goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome. His breakfast was outstanding. The cottage has two porches to relax and have a glass of wine, read a book, or just have a quiet conversation. Any time you are in Natchez, MS. You need to stay at Stone House with your host, Joe Stone.」

「The staff were wonderful. Breakfast was lovely. Love the room, tho it seemed like it hadn’t been used in a while. The jacuzzi tub didn’t work but worked as a regular tub, nonetheless. Parking was not good. The reason for not having 5 stars is parking. Only 2 parking spots to be used on the street. The driveway on the property only has room for 2 cars. The place has 4 guest rooms. We had to park behind someone, but was asked several times to move & let them out. Or we had to keep checking to...

「Our host, who doesn't live in the house, gave us free run of the place since no one else had rented the other bedroom. The place was comfortable but not updated. Our host was very pleasant and accommodating and we enjoyed visiting with her. She provided us with a nice breakfast using eggs from her own hens.」

「Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with a beautiful view of the Mississippi river and having a pool there is definitely a pleasure during the summertime.」
