"Clean, ample room, quiet, safe, and central. Don't arrive with a car here, but if you come in on the train, this is a great homebase. We were meeting friends who were staying elsewhere, so the breakfast option we did not take advantage of, but it looked really, really lovely. Great front desk - they were kind to give some cultural background to my partner on why and when the French say 'Bon Jour' 'Bonsoir' - tolerant of ignorant americans, merci!"

"Very happy with the room. Good air con and very thick curtains which completely shut out the light. Also good sound insulation given that we were on the 1st floor facing the main street. No walk-in shower - have to climb in the bath which isn’t ideal, but shower ok. Good range of food for breakfast which is served in the bar."

"We didn’t know what to expected as we chose this hotel based on the reviews. It was excessing our expectations. It was hard to leave. The room was large even with a king sized bed. The location was truly the gem. We walked 11 minutes to Cathédrale Notre-Dame and only 4 minutes to Petite France, Maison des Ponts Couverts and Barrage Vauban. There were countless restaurants and coffees around. We arrived late the first day and we still found a good restaurant to eat. This hotel lobby had water, coffee and pastries in the afternoon for guests. It was very considerate. We traveled with a dog, I never felt unsafe when I walked her late at night. I actually enjoyed walking with her at night. The atmosphere of the hotel areas just made me smile. Strasbourg is such a beautiful city to visit and this hotel is really a perfect place to stay. We will be back for sure!"
