We had a really nice stay at this property at Palmetto Dunes (Unit 1210). We loved the view from the balcony, beds were comfortable, place was updated nicely, and kitchen was also stocked with what we needed for the week. We loved that we got a credit for VayK to spend on bikes for the week. The pool and hot tub at Villamare were a great alternative to the beach — our kids loved going between both!
Our biggest concern with the unit we stayed in was the water spot above the master bath shower (I am very sensitive to mold), the front load washer (moldy rubber ring on inside of washing machine), and on one of the queen beds we noticed huge urine stain on the mattress when we took sheets off at the end of our stay. We wonder if the bed could be cleaned and then waterproof mattress pads can be provided for when families have little kids? Maybe also provide an AirDoctor to combat any viruses, mold, etc. in the space and provide “cleaner” indoor air.
Overall, we had a great visit and will definitely be back to visit Villamare again!
