About this space
Relax with the whole family at the Walnut Street House. From the newly-renovated kitchen to the fully enclosed shady backyard for children and pets to play, this house has everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

Located in a quiet neighborhood just off I-35 and near Walmart, it’s a quick 20 minute drive to Lake Whitney and 30 minutes to Magnolia Market.

Whether you’re stopping for a quick night stay or needing a place for a work trip, we would be glad to host you!

Comes with a dinning room and also a breakfast nook off the kitchen.

  • The Cameron Park Zoo in Waco, Texas is a terrific zoo! The zoo has a great range of animals and exhibits and the grounds are well kept and spacious. There's lots of shade to keep you somewhat cool during those hot Texan summer months if you visit during that time frame. The animal enclosures are nice, and can really give you great views of the animals themselves if you are a bit patient. This also makes for great photo views, as shown here with this photo of an approaching jaguar. Food and snack prices are also very reasonable, as are prices for souvenirs. This zoo makes for a great day out for the family.

Hillsboro House stay

My family stayed overnight at the Hillsboro House. We chose this home because it is pet friendly. My mom, stepdad, aunt, and I stayed at the house with my mom’s dog, and there was was more than enough space for everyone! We really enjoyed the fire pit in the backyard! It was an excellent place for us to relax and catch up. The hosts were accommodating and responsive to messages. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling in the Hill County area!

Great place for family to gather

The house is an older one, but very clean inside. We loved having a washer-dryer at our disposal. Refrig was a great size and the kitchen was nicely remodeled. We were in town for a Celebration of Life. Family from an hour away gathered with us and we were all comfortable in the living or sun room. A few things missing like shampoo and conditioner and Kleenex. These can be easily remedied. Thanks for an excellent stay.
