I booked a Delux room with a sea view. However the room I was given was nothing like the photos on expedia and was mainly a view of the swimming pool and glimpse of the Ocean. Nothing Delux about the room at all, so adjust your expectations. The managerial staff were rude and arrogant, however the other staff were nice and accommodating to me. The food menu options are limited and not that great. The location and pool are great! would not pay 1 cent more then $50 a night to stay here!

Not worth the money!!!

We got a basic room at this fancy hotel and expected it to be an ok room because we paid more than 50$ for it. But, the standards are more of a room I expect when I pay 10$. I don't mind those small simple rooms but this night we wanted a more fancy night. So I was really disappointed and it was so Not worth it! Also, no welcome drink as it says on hotels.com. hah!!

für familien die NF wollen,dürfte es passen

HP gebucht..frühstücksbuffet halbwegs ok...Abendessen a la cart...leider nur zwischen huhn und fisch wählen dürfen...meistens abends alleine beim essen..wir wussten danach warum! die billigeren zimmer "absteige pur"..die besseren DZ um die 100 $ sind halbwegs ok.. lage super...essen fast am beach...auch das personal war freundlich...

Dirty rooms, especially bedsheets. It is rather guesthouse than hotel. They tried to give us room with lower standard with broken ac, despite the fact that we payed for deluxe room and offered us better standard for additional charge. keep away.

Ett fint hotell med bra läge.

Hotellet var rent och välstädat. Det var stor skillnad på rum. Vi hade bokat ett budgetrum, vilket var ett rum med en säng, inget mer. Vi fick erbjudande direkt att uppgradera rummet till ett deluxerum med havsutsikt. Deluxerummet hade AC, myggnät, varmvatten, balkong med havsutsikt, safetybox mm. För denna uppgradering ”brukar de ta” xx dollar per natt extra. Vi fick ”Specialprice” på hälften dollar extra per natt. Efter mycket förhandling gick det att få ner till ytterligare x dollar per natt. Vi valde att uppgradera då det aldrig hade gått att bo 9 nätter i budgetrummet. Efter lite efterforskningar visar det sig att detta är satt i system. Över lag så var rum och hotell rent och fräscht, mycket trevlig personal. Bra mat u restaurangen och ett helt fantastisk strandläge och en fin välskött pool. Vi kan absolut tänka oss att bo där igen.

Chambre bruyante , sale , proche de la route

Je ne recommande absolument pas cet hôtel ! Chambre sale , murs moisis , bruits de la route proche insupportables ! Et wifi inaccessible depuis la chambre ! Seul le petit déjeuner pris en front de mer est correct . De plus cet hôtel est loin de tout !

Hotel a due passi dal mare con vista mozzafiato

L'albergo si trova direttamente sulla spiaggia a 30 metri dal mare..la piscina è pulita e le sdraio morbide..il bar è sempre aperto..la zona è anche abbastanza ventilata..unica pecca: colazione troppo povera e si potrebbe migliorare serrature e pulizia delle camere

Flott økonomihotel med flott beliggenhet

Overraskende bra hotel ut fra antall stjerner og pris. Halvpensjon var flott- med varierte retter på Bufeen. Trivelig personale som gikk an å prate med. Nyoppusset rom med veldig bra Bad !

ビーチ沿いのきれいなホテル

デラックスルームに宿泊しました。部屋は一階だったのでサーフボードを持っていましたが苦労なく宿泊できました。部屋の鍵がディンプルキーでドアは少し古いので面倒にはなりますが部屋の中は申し分なくきれいでした。シャワールームもトイレもすごくきれいで、シャワーの水圧も充分、ホテルスタッフも親切な対応で快適に過ごせました。エアコンのカバーが壊れてて落ちてくることがあったのですが、適当に直した結果、次の日も落ちてきたので２度目だと説明してしっかり直してもらいました。プールはそれほど広くはないですがプール目当てではなかったのでとくに不満もなく、夜はプール内がライトアップされていてきれいでした。朝食の時間が朝8時から10時までとサーフィンするわたしには不便な時間だったので一度しか食べませんでしたが、メニューはパンとパンケーキ、たまご数種類とソーセージ程度だったと思います。レストランにはロティやカレーはありませんでしたので、それらを食べたい場合は外に行く必要があります。周辺はコンビニみたいなところはすぐ近くにあります。ロティショップも歩いて5分くらいに何件かありました。ヒッカドゥワの中心地からは離れているのでそこまではトゥクトゥクを使う必要があると思います。帰りのホテルから空港までタクシーをホテルで頼むと10000ルピーでした。全体的に、初めてのスリランカだったので他のホテルがわからないのですが快適に過ごせるホテルのひとつだと思います。

Dishonest 'upgrade' trick

We stayed for 3 nights in February at the Ranmal Beach Hotel. The location is wonderful for Hikkaduwa beach and the hotel pool is very nice as pictured. However the booking service of this family run hotel is horrible. Now having read previous reviews on TripAdvisor, we realise a similar trick has happened before, so be aware! We booked via Hotel.com app with filter 'A/C only' and the top result returns the standard room at this hotel. Upon arrival, the manager said the room we booked is actually a 'budget room' with no air conditioner nor hot water. And he eagerly showed us the 'deluxe room' and offered us an upgrade. When we asked to be shown to the room that we booked, so that we could compare the difference, after a lot of arguing he brought us to another room which turns out to be an older 'deluxe room' and we were offered another deal to upgrade. We felt pressured from this very aggressive upselling, but insisted we would like to look at the original room we had booked before making any decision, only then, and after much more arguing did the manager claim that they had overbooked the budget rooms. We were not happy to pay the 40 USD per night upgrade extortion fee for the hotel's mistake and so were put in a 4 single bed room instead of the double that we had booked. The hotel even took away the aircon remote and disconnected the hot water - not impressed!

値段の割にはイマイチ

値段の割に部屋、朝食の質は低い。場所も中心から離れたところに有るので、お勧めは出来ない。朝食はフルーツとパン、オムレツだけという日がほどんど。スタンダードルームからは海は見ず、デラックス以上でないと満足できないでしょう。

Bra hotell med bästa utsikten.

Vi hade tur som fick vårt rum uppgraderat till ett mycket bättre eftersom det vi skulle haft råkat bli dubbelbokat.Världens bästa utsikt från balkongen. Bra med pool eftersom vågorna var ganska höga i havet. Bra mat i restaurangen med trevlig personal.Nackdelen var att det var för få strand och poolstolar samt inte tillräckligt med parasoll.
