Wonderful home with stunning views.The home was spacious, clean & had all the amenities you would ever need.Things to do & restaurants recommendations provided were a great source of information.The host Trista was great to deal with & was very accommodating. 5 Stars from us & would definitely would stay there again.

We had an amazing stay! The home was very clean and comfortable. Very responsive owner. The back porch was a huge hit with the tv and fireplace. We stayed out there all day and night Saturday watching football. We highly recommend this home and will definitely return.

cabin was clean and neat. Host labeled everything in the kitchen so it was easy to find. Coffee filters,salt and pepper and baking and cleaning items were provided. Video helped explain the home and everything it offered. Very close to town

Another perfect stay

This is our second time staying at this property. Beautiful deck and views. Clean and good layout all on same level. Close to town for restaurants and shopping. Perfect house for two older adults and teen grandchild.

Peaceful mountain getaway

We spent four nights at Honeybee Hideaway with two kids and a dog for our spring break and we had the most fun and relaxing time. The house was super clean and had everything we needed and more. Trista was super helpful while we were making plans and very responsive during our trip. Our kids loved the mountain coaster and the public pool water slide, we hiked Glen Falls which was incredible, and ate at many restaurants in Highlands including Blue Bike (twice), Stubborn Bull and Ugly Dog. The view off the back porch is amazing for sunsets and the neighborhood is so peaceful and quiet but just a short drive to all the action in town. We will definitely be back!

The Perfect Getaway

This was the perfect home to relax and make memories! We spent all of our mornings and evenings on the back porch in front of the fire - stunning!. Every detail was thought of - nothing was overlooked. The location is so close to town, but you feel like you're away from the hustle and bustle when you get back to Honeybee Hideaway. The owners put a lot of love and thought into this home, and you can really feel it while you're staying there. Trista was very responsive and accommodating to our requests. In all my years on VRBO, this was my best experience to date!

Beautiful Home close to down town Highlands! Gorgeous views, love the outdoor living area and fireplace, great Kitchen. We stayed here for 2 nights while wedding planning for our daughters wedding next year at Old Eds. 20 minutes from Whitesides- best hike in Southeast!

Thanksgiving holidy

Excellent! The location is perfect. Trista, the host, is amazing. During our stay she was away on a family trip as well and still communicated with us immediately. Incredible host. It doesn’t get better. The property was lovely. Our family really enjoyed the trip. We plan on making it a Thanksgiving tradition.

Honey Bee Retreat

Property was as described, very well kept with all the amenities! Grill was brand new, back deck as well. We barbequed steaks and chicken, really enjoyed the view. House had everything we needed, had a 1 year old, had a pack n play, high chair and stroller. Trista our host kepted us well informed with a welcome video and correspondence throughout our stay. 5 minutes to downtown, couldn't have been easier. Great get away in Highlands NC!

A slice of heaven

We loved the covered back porch with a view of the mountains while enjoying the fireplace on the cool evenings. The location of the house was very close to town yet, it felt like we were hidden away in the mountains.

Enjoyed the 5 day visit!

This was a very well equipped home and Trista was a great host. Excellent communication and above and beyond information on the area. You can tell she very much wants for you to enjoy your stay! House had everything we needed and there were touches throughout that made clear she didn't want you to worry about any of the necessities! Thank you so much!

Very nice house and good location

House is mostly one level which is great for older folks. Deck, both covered and open to enjoy a lovely long range view. Close enough to town to run to the grocery store yet nestled in a safe neighborhood. Been to Highlands many times and this is one the nicest houses I have rented.

Absolutely beautiful!

Clean property with Amazing views! Awesome Hostess was there every step of the way if we needed anything! We stayed there for a wedding event we were attending and it was perfect! Dog friendly and close to town.. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay and will stay there again next time I’m in The Highlands, North Carolina.. Thank you so much!

Nice clean updated cabin with new back porch addition

The cabin was spotless and was decorated nicely with an original theme related to Honeybees. The area was in a peaceful neighborhood and the new back porch addition was a plus for the house. We spent lots of time sitting and looking at the great view. The owners put a lot of thought into making this cabin (inside and out) a peaceful retreat for us.

Outstanding Hospitality

Trista is an outstanding hostess. She seeks out feedback from her guests so that she can make the house more comfortable and inviting. There was a basket of snacks on the counter and a notebook on the coffee table with information about the house and things to do in Highlands. The best part of the house is its gorgeous deck and fireplace with a lovely view. I highly recommend a stay at the Honeybee Hideaway.

Great stay at Honey Bee Hideaway.

The house is beautiful and very convenient with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths on one floor. The newly renovated back deck is awesome and a great place to hang and enjoy the view. Trista was a very helpful and accommodating host. She was quick to answer our messages and was super gracious when we needed to reschedule our trip. We would definitely stay again at the lovely Honey Bee Hideaway.

Perfect getaway!

My husband and I took a last minute trip to Highlands, NC to see the fall colors. We were so lucky to find Honey Bee Hideaway. The location is perfect and so are the views from the back balcony porch. The road is hard-top and not difficult to drive. Trista is awesome! You can tell she really loves the area and is happy to share info. There are waterfalls and hikes nearby, and town is only a 5 min drive. We took the drive into Cashiers to explore some more and ate at The Cornucopia for lunch, which has a nice nostalgic feel. The road to Cashiers is winding but was very beautiful. We went to Silver Run Falls which was an easy trail walk to the falls. I would highly recommend staying at this home. Thank you Trista for sharing it!
