We came for the view but found home like amenities and comfort. The house was clean, towels were soft, plenty of bedding and there were lots of conveniences like enough hand soap, dish detergent, dish cloths etc etc. The hosts were great at communication and you can tell they love to share the experience with others. We hope to come back in the summer.

The host Mr. Mike and Ms.Robin are the best.What stood out..The mountain view its like nothing we ever experienced. To sit on the front porch for hours on hours. The amenities were fantastic, good WiFi, if your a person that streams everything there something for everyone Very easy to find with GPS. If I could give a 10* I would. Communication with Mr. MIKE was fantastic ,he got back with me on every question I had. The house just make you feel at home the minute you walk in.

My wife and I had a great "mini" week vacation. Took advantage of all the slice of Heaven cabin's amenities. Wood burning fire place in the morning and evenings. The barbecue grill cooked up steaks, country pork ribs, steel trout salmon, and beef ribs. Beds soft as clouds. Every day, we took road trips on back mountain roads to places like Dillsboro, Haynesville, Blairsville, Clayton, and Murphy. Lastly, we soak in the beauty of the gold, orange, yellow, and brown Autumn majestic mountains. The last day, Saturday, we just kicked back and watch the Macon county Airport airplanes take off and land. Of course, all thos while enjoying the valley's panoramic view unfold below from sunrise to sunset. Church bells rang out below. We're ready for our 3rd visit next spring. This is a cabin to write home about.

It was easy to see that this cabin is well loved by the owners. The view is amazing. The road to the cabin is quite steep and narrow. It is blacktopped. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The hosts were amazing! It was really nice having laundry facilities on site. We didn’t have a pet, although it is pet- friendly.

Quiet and so exquisitely beautiful. The sunrises will take your breath away. Deer walking around and come right up toward the cabin. Traveled to Dry Falls which was a short drive and well worth it. Such a glorious place. Robin and Michael are amazing hosts and the kind of folks you feel blessed to meet!! We will be back for sure!

We absolutely loved our stay at this wonderful mountain cabin!!! The view is breathtaking; overlooking the valley with the mountains in the background. The cabin has everything you need and more. Michael and Robin are very sweet and great hosts. The cabin is secluded, quiet and an easy 10 minute drive to downtown Franklin, with it's quant shops and nice restaurants. Everything was perfect and we will be back when the mountains are calling.

The Best Experience Ever

This is our 4th time at this cabin, and it never seems to amaze us with it's beauty. A fawn arrived first night, and his Mom arrived every evening and morning. It IS a SLICE OF HEAVEN.

The view from the porch is amazing! Checking in was easy, and the cabin had everything we needed. Could use a little larger frying pan. The location is perfect, and the town of Franklin is lovely.

Yes the view is spectacular, but for us it was more than a view. It was a relaxing weekend away from the grind. It was clean, it was quiet, and we literally had everything we needed. We cooked dinner every night and enjoyed overlooking the valley as evening and night rolled in. It was most perfect for us.

The cabin is truly "a Slice of Smokey Mountain Heaven". It is clean, comfortable, well kept, well stocked, and the hosts are kind and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the porch taking in the beautiful view, watching planes take off and land at the airport, listening to the church bells ring out melodic hymns, and observing the abundant wildlife. There is so much to see and do in the area. A vacation stay here can be as quiet and peaceful, or as busy and active as you like. We highly recommend a stay at this cabin.
