Here are a few of my favorite spots to visit (and eat!) while you’re here in beautiful High Springs:
🏞️ Springs & Outdoor Adventures
1. Gilchrist Blue Springs
One of the clearest and most scenic springs in the area. I highly recommend renting a paddleboard and spending the day exploring the spring run and river — it’s peaceful, beautiful, and a true Florida gem.
2. Ichetucknee Springs
About a 25-minute drive, but absolutely worth it. Float down the crystal-clear Ichetucknee River on a tube — it’s relaxing, fun, and one of the best ways to experience Florida’s natural beauty.
3. Poe Springs
A quieter spot that’s great for swimming, picnics, and a slower pace. Perfect for families or a peaceful afternoon in the water.
4. Ginnie Springs
Famous for its vibrant blue water and underwater caves. Great for swimming, snorkeling, or just lounging by the spring. It can get busy, but it’s definitely worth seeing at least once.

This little house was perfect for my family’s trip to High Springs. We were there to get our baby girl baptized at a church in town. The house is on a very nice plot of land which was perfect for the kiddos to run around. The kitchen was nicely updated and the rooms were a nice size. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows were wonderful. Thank you for a great stay!
The house was clean with plenty of room on a beautiful farm like property. The host did a great job of communicating. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would recommend it highly. famille f
Quiet house out in the country. Clean with the necessary amenities. Enjoy seeing the wildlife including turkeys with a gaggle of poults trailing. Good base for hitting the springs around. Large capacity washer and drier.
We enjoyed our stay just outside of High Springs. Just short distance to all the antique shops and several springs. The property was well maintained and the house was very clean and cozy. The beds were super comfy!
We set on the front porch and watch the deer feed in the evenings. We had a very peaceful weekend. The owners were very informative and accommodating.
I hope it will be available when come back next year.
We had a wonderful stay at your home. It was a pleasant retreat after spending our entire day jet skiing. Having ample parking for our ski and vehicles was wonderful. Another win was we didn’t worry about our property outside. If we’re ever in the are again we will certainly book with you again. Thank you very much.
Our family of 9 enjoyed the new house; it’s a beautiful 4 bedroom home centered on 5 acres of fenced property. We enjoyed Ichnetucknee springs tubing during the day, made meals together in the fully equipped kitchen and spent our nights sitting around the fire pit star gazing and making s’mores. The grandkids loved the bean bag beds and grandma and grandpa enjoyed the king bed. Hoping next time we’re visiting the area the home will be available.
My son was getting married in Alachua about 15 miles from the rental. My husband and I booked it for our son and his siblings to have a place to stay and get ready for the wedding. It was perfect, very nice and very clean. The second photographer was able to get some great shots in the home and outside the home of the groom, groomsmen and my husband and I. It’s a great place to stay for any occasion. Very quiet and secluded. We loved it. I highly recommend.
Our recent 4-day stay at this property in Central Florida was an absolute dream! The property was flawless, radiating a sense of cleanliness and comfort that set the tone for our entire stay. Impeccably maintained, it offered all the amenities one could ask for, ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable time. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed, making our stay truly special.
A standout feature was the warm and inviting atmosphere. The property's décor and cozy beds created an ambiance of luxury and comfort. It was a pleasure to cook in the well-equipped kitchen and unwind in the cozy living area.
What truly set this experience apart was Jennifer, the owner. Her friendly and attentive nature made us feel like valued guests. She went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, adding a personal touch that made our stay unforgettable. From the moment we arrived until our departure, Jennifer's hospitality was exceptional.
In a world full of distractions, this property offered a rare opportunity to disconnect and cherish quality time with loved ones. Our days were filled with relaxation and joy, creating cherished memories against the backdrop of Central Florida's beauty.
In summary, our stay at this property was beyond remarkable. A perfect blend of comfort, cleanliness, and hospitality. We wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone anyone seeking an unforgettable escape. We're already looking for to our next visit!
With gratitude,
Ricardo.
This home was absolutely beautiful—clean, spacious, and stocked with all the essentials we needed. Its location near the springs made it the perfect place for our stay.
Nice quiet location, central to all the springs we were visiting. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the deer and the turkeys in the fields in the morning and at sunset. Well-appointed home with seamless check in and great host communication. Will definitely book here on our next trip to the springs!
We loved the acreage and the location. Our dog got to run and run! We loved the set up of the house. Two rooms on one end, then a great room and kitchen and dining in the middle, then two rooms at other end. We enjoyed ourselves and had a blast at the game!
We just breezed in and breezed out, so we didn't have much time to use their facilities, but the house was very nice, and well kept-up. The kitchen was comfortable and large (though we didn't have time to use it), and the check-in and check-out was simple and smooth.
I thought the place was in a good central location if you are looking to stay somewhere near Gainesville. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. It gave my friends & I exactly what we needed for the night. Would stay again in the future.
The property is beautiful. I traveled with my disabled dog, my parents and my youngest children to meet with my oldest daughter and grandkids. It was a great experience and very peaceful. At night you can see all the stars and many deer nearby. Love it.
