Apartments in Herndon for Rent

"Hotel is fine, great bar and restaurant. It’s clean and overall good. It gets a 3/5 in my book unfortunately for two reasons: (1) the rooms are quite small. They can barely fit 2 people and their luggage. I am not sure if this is typical of DC hotels, but the room was extremely small. (2) The area around the hotel is sketchy. I feel bad knocking the hotel down a star for this because it’s outside their control, but be warned the area (Chinatown) gets extremely sketchy with cops around all night and day. The area is NOT family friendly - we saw the aftermath of a stabbing, a woman running around naked, a fist fight, and people buying/selling drugs in the 4 days we were there. If I were to visit DC again, I’d stay closer to Georgetown, the River, or in Arlington. Chinatown did not feel like a safe neighborhood. Unless you’re coming to DC for a Capitals/Wizards game, I would personally avoid Chinatown. (FYI - Hotel is right next to arena so if you’re going to a game for a night I would choose this hotel) "

"The business center options could use a bit more attention. Ancient printer placed on a high counter that could barely be reached. Otherwise, nice people, clean (if small) rooms, excellent (expensive) food."

"I think this is a pretty old building, it has its pros and cons, and if you have allergies, you should be careful...I felt I was suffocating. "

"Our stay at The Watermark Hotel was exceptional. The combination of a beautiful room with a fantastic view, the hotel's convenient location, and its impressive amenities made for a truly memorable staycation. We thoroughly enjoyed it, and we would both highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and entertaining getaway in the Tysons area. We are already looking forward to our next visit. "Property was very convenient for an early morning flight out of Dulles. While one elevator was not working, the room was very quiet, clean, and spacious."

"While the rooms are lovely and the sheets were immaculate, I needed help with three things - 1) the front desk had to send an engineer to help me set up the Chromecast (there really was an issue, but the engineer came up at 930 pm and solved it) 2) the shower head was old and was not providing sufficient water flow and was malleable enough to where me trying to clean the openings was just squishing them (the showerhead wasn’t just cleaned, it was replaced by the time I got back to the room, but that tells you about the state of the hardware), the shower curtain was dirty - and again, they replaced the single-layer one with a replaceable liner fabric one (which tells you you have to ask for a clean and a modern liner and a shower head that works because they won’t update it on their own), and the repair team left two sharp items on the floor as a failure of sweeping the floor after the repair. I brought them to the front counter and other than an apology there was no effort to remedy this (they asked me if I needed medical help after stepping on it). So, it’s nice…. But you have to ask for basics. They’ll come through and help but they’ll still miss the mark. I’d stay here again but I’d adjust expectations tremendously."
