Hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso

Breakfast waa lovely, there was a great choice. Hotel in a lovely area with lovely resturants & Bars. Hotel room had loose fitting plug socket, No aircon! Room was very hot.Water splash marks on shower screen and tiles, cracked shower tray. Hotel is marked as a 4 star, we felt it was more of a 3 star.

Such a unique hotel built within an old perfume factory in a great location. Lots of nice bars and restaurants within easy walking distance plus Metro and trams stops to get into Central Milan close by. The staff were universally helpful and seemed genuinely really happy to help you with any queries or requests for help. The hotel itself was spotless and, as you might expect, the atmosphere was infused with wonderful fragrances. The breakfast buffet was lovely and the rooftop LabSolue Bar was a great place to be wowed with some beautifully conceived cocktails that paid homage to the former perfumery.

The bathroom in the room was great! Double sinks, nice skin products, fluffy towels. They were able to check us in an hour early and the hotel was quiet, with a nice little cafe attached downstairs to buy water, drinks and snacks. Great location - walk to everything and Metro stop a block away.
