"I would definitely come here again in the future because it was like being home away from home with the place fully furnished especially in the kitchen as we made tasty meals and didn't have to have to go out and buy the small things we forgot for the preparation of the meals. The staff was wonderful and responded immediately when the stove was not working properly and it was a minor glitch. Thank you so much for such a wonderful weekend at Edelweiss lodge!!"

"We had a scheduling conflict which required us to make changes. The hosts were not only understanding, they went above and beyond to do what they could for us. If we are able to reschedule another trip to Red River, we will definately try to stay in this cabin! Highly recommend this property!"

"A lovely home. The king bed was comfortable, but the other beds not so much. Kitchen was pretty well stocked for cooking meals. Really enjoyed the hummingbirds on the back porch. Of course the best aspect of this house is the location on the river. Kept the 6 year old entertained for hours and we even caught a couple of fish!"
"Family of 8 spent 6 days here in June 2025. Wonderful property that very comfortably accommodated our family of 8. Beautiful setting right on the river with tons of direct river access. Only about 5-10 minutes outside of town which made it very easy to go back and forth. So peaceful. Loved cracking open the doors and windows and hearing the sounds of the river. The little "island" in the river was fantastic! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get away and enjoy the sounds of nature and yet still have the convenience of town. "
