I had a very pleasant stay! The hotel is conveniently located and has some charm, breakfast is excellent, and there’s even a (free) sauna for guests. The room was tiny but had everything I needed.

My breakfast was absolutely delicious, good bed, nice and quiet, and everything worked very well, from the shower to the kettle in the room. I did not have a refrigerator in my room, which wasn't that big a deal, but I have seen it advertised in other places, so be aware. Really easy walking distance from lots of different things in this part uptown. Parking wasn't too challenging, but I was there on a weekend, so that made it easier. Great Cafe just a couple doors down and the hotel bar is spectacular. I really appreciate that they didn't charge a trillion dollars to have a very clean small dog in a room for one night.

Our room was large, airy, very clean and with excellent amenities. It was a comfortable home away from home, a lovely place to relax after a day of walking. The breakfast was generous and varied with fresh food, well prepared. The staff was very accommodating. Special mention to the young man on night duty as we left for a very early flight home, who went out of his way to make us a coffee to help us wake up before our taxi came. A small kindness that we will remember!

Room was very clean throughout the stay and was sufficiently equipped (hot powerful shower, TV with streaming and casting built-in, drink-making supplies). Staff were always super friendly and helpful. Hotel was always warm and welcoming.

This hotel was a gem!!! We stayed for 4 nights and I was sad to leave. It was a lovely place in a great location. And the breakfast!!! I was so delicious. I’m not usually a big breakfast person and I was always looking forward to it. The local Finnish porridge with berries was my favorite. Delicious coffee and everything was so fresh! Our room: it was so great! We had a suite that had our own sauna and it was amazing. It was attached to the bathroom so we used it every day. Such a fun addition to this room. I loved it and I hope to go back someday.

The rooms are beautifully designed and comfortable. It is a little bit away from the train station but I enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. The bathroom is pretty small. If you mind tiny bathrooms, book a larger room. Some amenities were lacking such as a wash cloth and conditioner. Considering the price and design, I will stay again. As a bonus, there is an excellent Japanese restaurant which is kind of hidden from outside.

We stayed one night at Helka hotel. The stay itself was fine and the staff was very kind, but our room wasn't properly cleaned. We found visible dust in many places and a hair hanging on the towels dryer, as well as some small hair product bottle full of dust on the floor, probably left from another guest. There was mold in the sealing of the door in the shower (which wasn't closing properly and leaking water when we showered, but we reported it to the receptionist when we left). We didn't expect this kind of things from a four star hotel. If it wasn't for the cleaning, our stay would have been a 5 out of 5. I would like to highlight the breakfast, which was very good, with a good of variety and allergens clearly indicated.

I ended up leaving the hotel after one night. The bed was very uncomfortable. I have rarely had such a bad night's sleep. The bathroom smelled. The breakfast offering was very limited.
