This newer home is accommodated with a patio for evening dinner and drinks, in floor heating all winter long and has a beautiful view of the lit up Cathedral at night.

Cozy and close to downtown Helena

The Nest was a great place for our family of 4 over a weekend. It was clean and a great location. The pullout bed was very comfortable too.

Resting place

We were here for medical reasons, and even in the middle of winter- their heated floors kept the Nest cozy! Such beautiful views of the snowy mountains, and a quick drive to downtown for food and fun. They even helped with the driveway snow when our flight was delayed. Great space, great communication, and a wonderful and restful experience!

A Neat Nest!!

This place was great! It may be the most accurately described rental property I’ve had! The Nest is clean, comfortable, and cozy!! Perfect for two people, and we loved the convenience to downtown Helena! Highly recommend!!

Great place in a convenient location.

I stayed there for 5 weeks while waiting for construction to be done on my new home. Everything was perfect! Five star all the way in each detail. Beautifully thought out floor plan and adorable decor. Lots of restaurants within a mile. I was warned you really do need a four wheel drive to navigate the driveway in the winter, but that's what makes the Nest a true nest!

We love The Nest

The property was very nice. Very clean and very well stocked with everything you may need. We loved the patio and being able to view the animals on the game trail. My husband went hiking on the nearby trails. The location is close enough to town, but it feels you are away from it all. My husband said he could live at The Nest. Angie was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We loved staying here

Top notch summer stayover in Helena

Property exceeded my expectations for Helena private lodging. Host Angie has assembled a comfortable, well-appointed and impeccable condo nestled in Grizzly Gulch. It's a convenient short distance to historic downtown retail and dining. Full size kitchen and Q bed suite with full walk-in shower bath were what I found appealing and convinced me to book. Plus a garage, washer/dryer, and private patio with grill/chairs & table outside the top floor unit were bonus features. This vacation rental is perfect for the seasoned traveler who wishes home comfort over routine hotel offerings. I enjoyed a short 2 night stay to enable my fly fishing lodging needs in nearby Craig, MT. I would book here again, any time of year! Hosts are friendly and hospitable. It felt like staying as part of extended family!

Amazing place with all the comforts of home!

I hesitate to say how I really feel about this home because it'll be booked up the next time we want to use it. There are so many good things about it I'm going to forgo my usual writing style and do it as a pro/con list. PROS: Spotlessly clean Super comfortable bed and pillows and nice sheets, for a change Whoever cleans this unit actually knows how to make a bed properly (thank you, I didn't have to remake the bed when I got here) Kitchen has all the equipment you need (and it's nice, not junky) Funky beatiful decor Nicest bathroom in any VRBO or other similar accommodation I've ever stayed at Very accurate description and puctures on ad Owner, Angie, is great to deal with and very personable yet still professional Nice extra was the washer/dryer (didnt think we'd need it but as it turns out we did) Good supply of dish washer, wash/dryer det., toilet paper (nice kind too), kleenex, coffee pods etc.... Welcome water bottles Use of garage under unit CONS Hand soap too scented (bring your own if you have scent problems like myself) Steep driveway (it could be very difficult in the winter) **!!!!Several very steep stairs to get up to the unit (if you have mobility issues or are in a wheelchair, this one's not for you)!!!!** Overall a fantastic stay. Opps...I guess I said too much and I won't be able to get a booking in the future, but I can't lie either. Thank you Angie 😊

A wonderful winter getaway

Our return visit was just as delightful as the first! The property maintenance so far is top notch and the hosts are very responsive to guest concerns. On our first stay, we noted the slow response of the radiant heat and wondered about winter conditions on the steep driveway. This time, we arrived to a toasty warm house as the host had adjusted the temperature in anticipation of our arrival. That was a very nice experience since we arrived too late in the evening to have made any adjustments ourselves! It had snowed recently but the driveway was in excellent condition—very cleanly plowed and salted. As I noted in our previous review, the tight turn at the top prevents large vehicles from entering the garage. I had our Ford Excursion this time and had to leave it outside. However, this is the normal expectation if you are renting a hotel or even most vacation rentals. This should not be considered a negative point in this case. Just be aware that if you are driving something as large as a Suburban or full-size pickup, it’s probably not going to squeeze into the garage. For everyone else, it’s wonderful to have the attached garage space! Everything was just as neat and clean as before and we even noticed some new furnishings added already. Obviously, the hosts intend to keep this rental up-to-date and in top condition. Unfortunately for us, our daughter has decided to transfer schools and so we won’t have any more regular opportunities to return and enjoy this fabulous vacation spot! Thanks so much for making our trips to Helena enjoyable and relaxing! For anyone contemplating a trip to the area, you should stop scrolling through ads and click the reservation button now! You will love it as much we did, I’m sure!

We loved this cozy place just a short walk to breweries, restaurants and shopping. We spent our days exploring the area, including hiring a captain to take us into Gates of the Mountains for hiking. The Nest was an extremely comfortable place to land after spending our days outdoors. We’d stay here again.

Couples Nest

Great property especially for couples. Nestled in the hills yet walking distance to all that downtown Helena has to offer. Like new 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment sets above finished and heated garage. Fully equipped kitchen, walk-in shower and comfy queen bed. Very quiet and private back patio with bbq grill. Made a very nice home away from home.

Very comfy nest

Our son plays with the Helena Symphony so we booked The Nest for the 3 of us, and it was the perfect place. Everything appears to be new and spotless- grateful for the washer and dryer in the unit that allowed us to wash stinky clothes after awesome walks/hikes. We made breakfast in the unit every morning and had all the tools we needed. Having a garage for our rental car was also an unexpected bonus as our son had his instruments in the trunk. Nice view of the tree-line across the street- and mountain bikers on the trails. Easy 10 min walk to breweries and 15 min to downtown, with a stop in the historic Reeder’s Alley and the visitor’s office for updates on events. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return!
