"It was just ok. Location was excellent for us which is a big plus but let down by poor communications (no response to phone calls or emails at all). Check in instructions were sent, but after check in time. "I was traveling for three weeks for business and the Stable House was such a perfect home base - you really can't beat the location if you're looking for something in the area. It was clean, well maintained, and on a quiet side street but still minutes (literally just a few hundred feet) to good food and drink. And of course, only a few minutes walk to the Castle and the Windsor side of the river (only about a five minute walk to the castle)."

"Hamish and Susie were great hosts. Hamish met us on arrival and gave us a tour of the house. We enjoyed the goodies in the welcome basket. The shortbread’s were delicious ( I believe they were homemade). We enjoyed our 3 night stay, the cottage was what we had hoped it would be. The gardens and grounds were so lovely and peaceful. Hamish gave us excellent advice getting to London by train. Our son and grandson enjoyed exploring Windsor Great Park, they saw a lot of wildlife. An awesome...

"Quaint hotel with 5-Star service and atmosphere. Efficient layout that was workable in the available space, didn't feel cramped. Only down side was the time to draw hot water, especially at the sink, but even in the shower. However, once it got hot, it was very hot. Complimentary breakfast buffet was of high caliber. A pot of coffee or tea was served at your table upon being seated. Food selection included: juices, fruited waters, dry cereal and milk, fresh fruit, mini croissants (plain and chocolate), assortment of fresh bread baguettes and sliced bread, selection of jams, butter, sliced fresh cucumbers and tomatoes, sliced meats, sausage, bacon, sauteed mushrooms, roasted tomatoes, and scrambled eggs. We were informed that if a different form of cooked egg was preferred (fried, poached, boiled, etc) to ask the wait-staff at no charge. "
