"Great property. Very clean, comfortable and spacious and exactly what we needed. The 50 HOA fee per car felt a bit silly since we only stayed 1 day. Would be nicer if there was a way to waive this especially for a very short stay. Other than that is was a nice place. "

"Place is beautiful, our host Ashley was great. The only reason I am not giving five stars is because the lack of curtains on three of the windows, and there was at least one(possibly more we couldn’t see) camera on the deck pointed inside the cabin that had view of the bathroom and kitchen area. If there were curtains on that window it would be a non-issue"

"The place was very nice and cozy! Mike was very helpful and responsive. The cabin had everything we needed available from kitchen utensils to bedding and towels. It was a very lovely place to spend our Christmas weekend at and we very much enjoyed the place and location."

"Nicely situated just north of Aviemore, there is a small village shop/Post Office not far away in Deshar Road, but if you need a large shop of groceries then Aviemore is only minutes away. The accommodation is very good with a double bedroom with en suite and a dressing area and a second twin bedroom opposite the family bathroom. There is a HD satellite tv in the living area with a supply of dvds to watch. The owner kindly allows the use of their own pedal cycles, which were perfect for a ride...

"we stayed here two weeks ago and loved it. This time was almost as good, the AC was almost as quiet and the only minus was two stained towels. But the value for money is there and it's extremely comfortable --love the sink separate from the toilet/shower, which is very convenient for sharing and very comfortable pillows and beds"

"This is a historic hotel that I believe is 109 years old. So as long as you understand that and go into without expectations of a new luxury hotel then you’ll be happy. The character and comfiness make up for any shortcomings. Staff was amazing and it makes you think and feel as if you’re back in the 1800’s. "

"The hotel room was great – very comfortable and clean. The staff was welcoming and friendly, and the breakfast was generous and tasty, especially the waffles, which were delicious! Breakfast was served a bit early for vacationers who enjoy sleeping in, but everything else was truly excellent. The town itself was also wonderful. All in all, a perfect stay! "
