Pretty Cottage with Large Garden Near Sandy Beaches, Cornwall, England.

  • Our cosy house is situated in the peaceful village of Gwinear, on top of a hill surrounded by farmland. There are distant views of St Ives and the bay from the garden and first floor of the house. The nearest beaches are a 7 minute drive away (3 miles). At one end of St Ives Bay there are vast sandy beaches with sand dunes and at the other there are the National Trust beaches of Godrevy and Gwithian with sand, rocks, lighthouse and a seal colony. There is excellent surfing with lessons, boards and wet suits for hire. The village store/newsagents and a pitch and putt course are one mile away. There are plenty of places to visit nearby. Picturesque St Ives and breathtaking St Michael’s Mount are only 10 miles away. You will also have easy access to beauty spots on the Lizard, Mousehole (16 miles), Porthcurno (20 miles), Lands End (20 miles)and Cape Cornwall (20) Zennor (13) The Eden Project is about 40 minutes drive. Penzance is (12 miles), Mousehole (16 miles). There are three golf courses within a 30 minutes drive.
