OUr Host was wonderful and was very accommodating. She made it a point to put thoughtful touches to our stay, like the delicious muffins that she left by the coffee pot.

The view and location was amazing! It was great to listen to the rushing water in the creek next to the house. Our host went above and beyond in providing a well stocked kitchen. Would stay there again!

The place was very nicely decorated and very clean. The owner went out of her way to make the stay extremely comfortable. Private location and very quiet inside and the relaxing sound of the rush of the nearby stream outside.

Our spontaneous getaway at the Chateau on Compass Creek was a most serendipitous experience, being even more than we expected and over-the-top delightful. Lynn, the host/owner, gives special attention to every detail and amenity one could want or need, even fridge and pantry staples & “goodies,” She goes above and beyond to make sure guests are comfortable and well satisfied, a true “Southern Lady.” The apartment is spacious and beautifully decorated with plenty of linens, bedding, sitting areas, and little extras that feel so welcoming and homey. All that was WONDERFUL, but the BEST part for us was the “music” and serenity of Compass Creek on that spacious & lovely deck… it was such a special place that we spent most of our time sitting, talking, eating, reading, napping… right there OUTSIDE our apartment! The “Chateau,” the location, and the most gracious Host made for one of the most relaxing and memorable vacations ever!I hope it won’t be the last time there!

This was one off the nicest places I have stayed at very nice deck overlooking a great creek the place was very clean and well stocked with everything you would need very nice hosts I would recommend it

Was a lovely little space with more than enough amenities!Everything came fully stocked and the host even had items in the fridge upon our arrival!The outdoor area was amazing and such a lovely way to wind down an evening!Absolutely breathtaking views and the stream sounds are constant and beautiful! The whole little house was perfect for a night stay and had games and cards and puzzles and everything you need to cook!

We absolutely love staying here, our second visit. This place is so relaxing! It has everything you need. It has a wonderful hostess, Lynn who provided us with delicious muffin on arrival. The decor is rustic/sophisticated Tuscan old world Spanish/Italian which I love! It has a beautiful patio over looking a mountain creek, a perfect place for your morning coffee or after dinner glass of wine. This is our favorite place to staynear Hayesville when visiting family. We are planning another visit in February!

Property and home were just beautiful, so well appointed. Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was so well equipped. Hostess is a love. Lovely muffins were a treat. My stay was just not long enough.

Enchanted Garden Oasis!
The rainy weather didn't let me enjoy the spectacular Creekside Garden as much as I would have liked! Comfy stay with everything you & your pup need! Appreciated the well stocked kitchen & treats!

Very relaxing stay
The property is located in a very beautiful area. The water that is next to the property was very therapeutic to listen to. The owner of the property was also very kind and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay. Lastly, all of our needs were met as the owner thinks about all the essentials.

Beautiful and quite place
We loved our entire 5 day stay at the Chateau. It’s located right on the creek with a large deck overlooking it. This place is beautiful, peaceful, clean, and very relaxing. We would definitely come back. Thank you Lynn for letting us stay there.🙏

We really enjoyed our stay ! The chateau was very clean. We were greeted with muffins and a card welcoming us. The kitchen was so well stocked with anything you could need. Lynn was wonderful to work with. She certainly goes over and above for her guests. We loved the creek beside the chateau. There is a wonderful deck to enjoy. Unfortunately , it rained everyday we were there. We look forward to staying again next time we go visit family.

She was a great host! She came and greeted me when I arrived. We loved the roaring creek, the boardwalk, and the layout of the place. She had everything you could possibly need, like a hair dryer and toiletries, and a myriad of blankets and towels. The fridge was also stocked with some food staples, like milk and eggs and oj, and the pantry had some snacks in it, and she provides some baked goods and a bottle of wine. Our dogs loved running up and down the boardwalk and it was a beautiful place to host a little family dinner. The kitchen has all of the spices and cookware you need. We will definitely be back!

Peace and quiet
I stayed here with my two pups over the 4th of July and it was the perfect getaway. The space is just as pictured and the patio along the creek was beautiful. If you're looking for a peaceful place to disconnect, this is it! Lynn was a lovely host.

This place is beautiful! Unfortunately, we didn’t have the chance to stay longer, but we really enjoyed our evening by the creek. It’s very peaceful and reminds us of a European villa. The unit is clean, comfortable, full of little details, and inviting. Our host was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the complementary muffins and coffee! We would definitely consider staying here again.
