"The staff was amazing. The dog relief area was great. The beach was all a dog could wish for. It was off leash and perfect for running. They even offered a breakfast, which was totally unexpected."

"From the outside the place looks old and run down, our room though was updated and clean. Some to the updates (texture on the walls, shower) were not done to a great quality but this is not a high-end hotel. Our room was large and the balcony had a nice river view (The deck was a little worn). We were able to watch some seals/sea lions playing in the river while we were sitting on the balcony. The only issue we had was that the floors squeaked and were a bit noisy. The wifi was fine and for what you pay it was a nice convenient location."

"Lovely front desk lady that checked us in! Wish I could remember her name. We had two sunset suites with 2 bathrooms each. Worked well for my travel group but the “down the stairs” suites may not work well for those traveling with toddlers or those with ambulation issues. Beautiful beach was a quick walk from the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay and the fabulous full breakfast before we had to get back on the road."

"There are two kinds of rooms and buildings at this hotel. If you get the one near the beach facing the ocean, I bet it’s nice. It looks a lot newer. Unfortunately, I was given a room above the reception that has a weird hallway and windows that don’t lock. It did the job while traveling through, but just barely."
