Brimming with traditional character and charm, this fabulous holiday home is situated in the countryside of the Yorkshire Dales, close to Hawes. It’s a perfect setting for a group or family of four with a lovely outdoor space overlooking the surrounding fields and river.
Enter this pretty stone cottage into a spacious hallway with part exposed wall, wood panelling and stone-flagged floor, where you can store your coats and walking boots. The farmhouse-style kitchen has everything you need to create culinary delights, and a handy dining table and chairs are provided so you can all eat together and plan the days ahead. Get cosy in the characterful living room where there is a warming wood burner set in a feature fireplace, and a Smart TV so you can watch films or your favourite shows. Up a few steps is a handy ground-floor shower room, as well as a bunk bed room, perfect for the children of the group. Upstairs are the further two bedrooms, both with double beds and amazing views of the countryside. A family bathroom completes the interior of the property. Outside you will find a private seating area overlooking the beck, and you will also have access to land that runs down to the riverside where you will find dining table and chairs stored in the outhouse, perfect for al fresco dining.
Hardraw is a pretty hamlet sat on the river with a delightful waterfall just 300 metres from the property. There is a handy pub just 100 metres away, and further amenities and attractions can be found in the bustling town of Hawes (1.5 miles). Uncover the area’s history at the fabulous Dales Countryside Museum, or pop to Wensleydale Creamery and try out some traditional Yorkshire cheese.
