Stay was great. Lobby was promising and nice, however once on elevator things changed by appearance. Paint on doors the carpet and up keep is not the main focus of facility. Customer service was 10/10 though. Would recommend to anyone seeing that you only have two choices in Laurel.

Overall, I had a good stay. The room itself was great, and the AC had no problem keeping me comfortable during those hot Mississippi days. The staff was excellent, everyone I encountered was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The hotel itself could use some updating. The interior looked and felt dated, and the pillows went completely flat as soon as you tried to use them. Breakfast was probably the biggest disappointment. Several of the items looked dry and tasted like they had been sitting out for a while, so there is definitely room for improvement there. Despite those issues, the comfortable room and great staff made the stay enjoyable. With some updates to the property, better pillows, and a fresher breakfast, this could be a really nice place to stay.

The room was not great, but ok. Quiet during the night and slept well. Walked into the bathroom during the night and stepped in water, then felt a drip on my head. The ceiling already had water spots on it when we arrived (it seemed like old stains from a previous leak) and the paint had bubbles behind it filled with water. Didn't realize that it was still a current leak. That kind of sucked. Not the best Holiday Inn that I have stayed in, but it had the best rating for the area.

RUN RUN RUN…. This place is run down, dirty and the rooms are subpar. This is not a hotel but a motel. The shower was filthy with mold. The shower door was dirty and was terribly water stained. The floors in the room….I can’t even describe. Black sticky stuff all over the floor. They don’t mop the floors and you can definitely tell. The AC had a make shift cover under it to hide who knows what. The door had no threshold under it so you could hear every single noise in the hallway. The door also would not close unless you slammed it hard. The most dirtiest hotel and thankfully it was only 1 night. Corporate needs to investigate this hotel.

Not worth the rate..,property is worn, needs freshening in several areas. Breakfast was only standard fare. But late evening staff, Hannah, was great. Lightning strike killed their reservation system. She worked so hard. Everybody had to call booking services to get payment guarantee ( virtual card id) crap fur the staff. Was time consuming. Staff needs backup system to alleviate this situation
