"The place was clean and felt spacious. However, I felt the kitchen was not very well equipped (incomplete set of cutlery, no lid for large pot, limited glasses) and the wifi was not reliable for streaming on the tv. The deck is quite large and has ample seating. "

"DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE!!! Host was completely unresponsive the few days before booking, even up until check in time he could not be reached. Never was able to get info on how to check in and eventually had to get a refund as Vrbo couldn’t even get in touch with the host. Extremely disappointing first experience using vrbo"

"It’s definitely wonderful experience staying in this beautiful cottage with perfect lake view, various watercraft, BBQ, etc. we enjoyed our stay and had so much fun. Host is super nice and makes sure we have everything in need. "

"Really loved the property, experience, and over all accommodations offered by the amazing owners. The AC was really nice in the heat, electricity and running water made our stay very comfortable. Having the option of TV was also nice once it was later. Perfect out door eating space, BBQ was handy and The wonderful tour of the animal sanctuary to end our stay was great and educational. I would definitely recommend, the owners made it a really great experience."

We did have a hard time reaching property manager at point because I didn’t have the contact information but later was given the maintenance number so I would definitely recommend getting the contact information upon arrival but other then that it was amazing! "The unit was very clean, had everything you could want for a few days stay. Carstin was very quick to respond to messages, although not on site.A myriad of rules and fines listed, which had concerned me. I hadn't noticed on many other VRBO sites (not to this extent). Good value for the area. "

"This was my second time at the property; however, it had recently changed its name from the Comfort inn brand. The only noticeable change was there was no waffle iron to make waffles, as before! The only negative would be the setup of the breakfast area in general. It was poorly organized such that, for example, the coffee was poured at one side of the area and the cream was in a fridge on the other. Maybe fine if just one person was there but with little kids, it was an accident waiting to happen. Anyway people were milling around not orderly at all. We’ve had much experience at US Military inns so notice some issues that they need to address. Otherwise, staff were friendly, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. Well worth what we paid especially compared to comparable properties in the area."
