La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Hartford - Bradley Airport

"Pleasant place to go before a flight at Bradley convenient"

"Pool "Out of Order" due to Health Department closure, "not sure" when it would open again. Mr. Marriott, if he were still alive, would not want his name associated with this hotel. (Now, there actually was not anyone named Marriott from what I have been told.) Many other repair issues, mostly minor, but evidence that this property is on a downhill slide, it will become a Super 8, or Motel 6 or be torn down sometime in the next 5 years. It is too far from Hartford or Springfield to be a welfare hotel, the fate of many a downtown, once fine, hotel. Loose electrical sockets with misaligned face plates, too few outlets so that bed side lamps were disconnected. Only UBS ports on alarm clock (which was very simple and great). Internet was fine, but instructions lead you to steps you do not need to take. Bathroom was probably redone a year or two ago, and basics were fine, but mold on grout is beginning, the bane of hotel bathrooms. The breakfast was just fine. The staff were just fine. I would stay there again, close to Bradley Field, room was clean, HVAC easy to regulate, parking fine, never use the pool anyway, and a Grab and Go for people who have an early flight out."

"The rooms were really large and spacious with a nice couch to relax on. Clean, the bed was very comfortable and the pillows were so fluffy. I will definitely stay here again."

Simsbury 1820 House
10/10 Excellent
"The staff at Simsbury 1820 were the highlight of the stay. They were expecially friendly and very helpful. They had some suggestions of things to do that were interesting and area specific. Understandably but a bit disappointing was the inadquacy of the plumbing. It's a very old building but toilets could be updated."
Days Inn by Wyndham Windsor Locks / Bradley Intl Airport

"Everything was great"
HYATT house Hartford North/Windsor
10/10 Excellent
"Travelled with family, 2 teenagers and 2 younger kids for one night. We were treated with a very sincere and kind “welcome” from the receptionist. She was very efficient and friendly. The property and lobby were spotless and clean. We stayed in the 1 bedroom , double bed suite that was very spacious. It had a small kitchen area and was equipped with kitchen appliances. Very comfortable beds not so comfortable pull out couch. Pool water was chilly but area was clean with the exception of the hot tub. Although it was very warm and comfortable, it seemed to need some attention to the paint and walls surrounding it. We enjoyed the free breakfast of pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausages, home fries. Also variety of cereal, yogurt, fruit, juices, coffee, tea, and breads. I always enjoy Hyatt House and definitely will stay again."
