“Feels like Home!” Family vacation, reunion on the Farm!

  • 2026 is FarmHouse Inn’s 9th Season!

    Enjoy our cozy 6 bedroom farm home located on 385 acres of organically farmed fields, and pastures. The Inn sleeps 10, but can accommodate 12-14, with a sofa sleeper and air mattresses.

    In the evening, shut off the yard light and watch the fireflies and star gaze from the front yard. You'll observe our many cats on the job doing natural rodent control and basking in the sun, Take walks in the pastures, if no cattle are mowing.

    Explore northeast Nebraska by visiting the Nissen Vineyard, Bow Valley’s historic Sts. Peter and Paul church, and the Lewis and Clark recreation area up by Yankton, SD.
    Amenities include: Peace coffee, TV, ROKU, DVD, toys, books, games, fully-outfitted kitchen, additional refrigerator & stove, laundry, wifi.

    House Rules: Note: $10 per person per day, over 10 people, not counting 5 years old and under.

    1. PRIOR APPROVAL REQUIRED FOR:
    A. $25 X dog/animal. Limit 2 (more if garage/outdoor kennel. No cats)

30th Alumni reunion

The FarmHouse Inn was just perfect for 6 ladies celebrating a 30th class reunion. It was spacious with so many bedrooms and had everything we needed plus more. 2 bathrooms with showers and a large kitchen and family room.....plus being out in the peace and quiet of the country made it the perfect place to all hang out. We loved it💞💞👍

This was the perfect place for our extended family to stay together under one roof. We enjoyed grilling and family meals together and just hanging out in the living room talking and playing games. We walked around and saw the cows. The sun porch is lovely. Our beds were clean and comfortable. a great place - would come again

Great for a crowd

Friends and family, nine of us, stayed here. We were shooting in a national archery tournament in Yankton SD. The house and bedrooms were perfect. Very clean. Everyone had a great time and we enjoyed our stay.

Nice large farm house with character

We really enjoyed our stay at the FarmHouse. We had a larger group for our family Christmas and the place was large enough to accommodate all of us. Linda was fantastic working with us prior to check-in and making sure we had everything we needed. It was cool being in the farm house as it remined us all of being in our Grandparents farm house. Sun room was really nice and provided a little extra room for the kids to hang out. The adults took some time to take the very short drive over to the Outlaw winery and had a very nice time there as well. Overall it was a great place to stay.

Cows and sky

Going to Dakota Days and nothing left in Vermillion. Lots of space and lovely home! The host left a bottle of wine for us from local winery which was such a nice touch. The barn cat was friendly. Lots of cows and sky everywhere!

Very nice, very clean. We would definitely stay again.

Need more things to do outside like horseshoes or Cornhole. Outside around the place should be made more inviting. Comfortable beds, nice accommodations and we had a great time.
