The room and amenities were of the highest standard. Proper Yorkshire charm and clearly a place for which the owner and staff are rightly proud. The breakfast is individually prepared, the ingredients are top notch, it is expertly cooked and presented.

Lovely accommodation with everything you need. Room was very nice with a boutique feel. Comfy bed, nice bathroom and shower and a great breakfast. Combined with easy parking and a short walk into the centre I would highly recommend and would have no hesitation using again in the future.

Very clean, staff at breakfast and breakfast very good. Room looked pleasant but was quite noisy due to traffic outside and ? Noisy boiler in room next door which was on and off throughout the night. Not too far from town. Overall a very pleasant stay

Stayed overnight on way home from Scotland and to visit the Emmerdale experience in the morning. Brilliant location to harrogate and restaurants, comfortable room and very good breakfast.

Location was good and I managed to get parked in the small car park. Breakfast was very nice. Shower was excellent. Bed was squeaky. Residents made a lot of noise returning at 1.00am and 3.00am. There was a constant noise throughout the night at least every couple of minutes. It sounded like a toilet flush but I assume it was the plumbing. Worst nights sleep in years!

Bedroom was clean with a cosy bed nice and warm however can't be helped as building is listed extremely noisy pipes it was made up for lovely breakfast good quality coffee free parking

Great stay.

The owners were very good with direction of how to get and access property. The room was nice and the little touch of milk and honesty drinks was really good. Breakfast was great u had the veggie one lovely well cooked. Would come back.

Lovely spacious room. Generous complementary tray.Good shower and the room had a nice fan as it was quite warm. Convenient location, great poached eggs and friendly staff. Guest house was a close walk to town.

would be 5 stars for service but its unmanned on arrival. however lovely service at breakfast which full english was delicious. Room 5 on the top floor was perfect - so quiet and relaxing - nice view and the large walk in shower was excellent! bed was so comfy - best sleep for a long time. couldn't get parked as only 5 spaces in private car park but can park just metres away on public road. two minute walk to start of town centre.

Great place to stay in Harrogate

A great place to stay, clean, comfortable, quiet and had everything we needed for the one night of our stay. Lovely served breakfast by a really pleasant girl who was on her own but remained calm and efficient under pressure. Two small criticisms,couldn’t find plain old terrestrial tv but everything else available and the “garden room” we booked turned out to be the front garden on to the main road. Minor criticisms about a great syay

Great Stay at the Fountains

We had a great stay in an apartment at the Fountains. The staff were very helpful & the breakfast was delicious, the only thing missing was some fresh fruit. Free off street parking was a big bonus. Milk & a bottle of cava were left in the fridge for us on arrival. Location was perfect, only a 5-10 min walk to some very good bars, restaurants, shops & the stunning Valley Gardens. Would highly recommend you stay here.

Checking in using the pre-provided door codes was a little unnerving at first but the system worked and proved to be very useful. No forgetting keys or cards. The property is very clean, quiet, had everything we wanted. Great breakfast served with a cheery smile. Would certainly stay there again.

Would love to return!

We had a two night stay at the Fountains Guest house. Great location to walk into town and we managed to get a space on the rear car park. Smart entry system worked well so no need for room keys - a bonus . Super comfortable bed with modern bathroom and shower - small bathroom but perfectly adequate. We loved the availability of fresh milk in small flasks for the room if needed and well stocked hospitality tray . Breakfast was delicious- everything we needed and friendly service . Highly recommended 👍

It was a lovely room i was a solo traveller this time and it was the perfect size for me.Everything was there that you needed. Good quality shampoo/conditioner. Showergel handwash amd hand lotion. Excellent choices of tea/coffee/hot chocolate and a small packet of biscuits in room. Shower was amazing. Breakfast was really tasty. Staff very efficient and friendly. They couldnt do enough for you. They have parking passes in the hall way so that you can park for free.Thats a bonus as its expensive to park in harrogate. Will definitely be staying there on my return to harrogate.

Lovely little Guest House.

We had a lovely stay at the Fountains Guest House. The Guest House was near to the town and also very near to the Conference Centre. The Host was very friendly and helpful . The bedroom was clean, warm and comfortable with seats in the bay window so that we could people watch.The shower had a great rainfall shower head. The breakfast was tasty with a good selection of cereals, yogurt and hot food. There was also a house keeping service which we weren’t expecting so we never went short of tea, coffee and biscuits in the room. Couldn’t fault anything and will definitely visit again.

3 night stay in Fountains apartment

3 night stay in Fountains serviced apartment which was clean, modern and close to all main attractions / shops. Provision of initial items - tea bags / coffee / salt / pepper etc, along with adequate cleaning materials and toilet rolls to last full stay. Towels were supplied and were large and soft and good quality. Kitchen was fabulous and very new and suitable for a family. Only two points to mention, had to call the help line number to get door entry code , but, sorted out quickly and courteously and a few pre- stay questions also answered quickly and efficiently. Would score it at 9.9 out of 10 and only reason for this was that there were a few cobwebs and spiders to be seen, mostly in corners or on carpets, which were not a major issue and could have been sorted out with a quick whoosh round along tops of walls and along skirtings prior to our arrival. Overall, this property does what it says on the tin and would certainly return in the future and would recommend to any other families looking for a comfortable , central place to stay in Harrogate

Overpriced. Cramped. Not idea location. Didnt like that it was remote reception. Despite reserving 2 separate beds, upon arrival it was a King, and it took 3 hours to change. I suggested I book elsewhere but they were adamant I wait two hours whilst they correct the room.
